Wasn't OpenIV also used for GTA4 and Max Payne 3?
I know that latter didn't really have much in the way of mods but how badly is this fucking over the GTA4 community?

Started off with GTAIV.
Hence the name OpenIV
Hope the hacking becomes so bad that they have to shut online down
they've killed the biggest thing that keeps their game alive. GTASA is still active heavily due to mods

I hope that take-two gets fucked in court some day
I really cant get the thought process that went on here. How do you even look at mods and think "Yeah, that's hurting our buisiness." No, wait I can. It's the fucking sharkcard microtransactions.
Also FucKonami
I'm reminded of early GTA Online patches, each one of which would remove some feature or correct some "bug" that was harmless but being used to, y'know, actually have a little fun. Patch notes of that era might as well have said, "-You weren't having fun correctly, we have removed it." I guess they finally managed to drain all the actual fun from the game and now have to move on to external sources of fun.
His new theme is better than the previous one but holy shit even his hat wears a corset
you know I legitimately never thought I'd see the day where a company would directly go after a modding community
no less one that the devs themselves patted on the back
So is OpenIV the main way you get mods for GTA4? I was just recently thinking of replaying the game again with mods for the first time and then I see this thread. Man this week seems like a downer for the modding community. First you have Bethesda trying to capitalize on free appetizers, then Take Two takes a huge shit on their players.
