I only had plastic Walmart snowboards growing up, are you supposed to strap your back foot in or keep it free like in the video? I always strapped both in when I used it since it made sense to me because I had bad balance.

I have always learned to let it free yeah for in case you fall. Easier to get out of the way.

You keep your back foot out for moving through the lift line and getting on and off the lift. Once you're at the top you definitely always strap in fully before you go down the mountain ha.
The one time I went snowboarding, I buried my front edge of the blade into fresh powder, launched myself into a cartwheel, rolled down the hill, dislocated my shoulder, kept rolling down the hill, relocated my shoulder and got buried by a tree for 10 minutes.
My arm clicks every time I move it too far. I made it up the mountain unlike some of these poor mooks. That parts the easiest part too.

I'd say your story illustrates more how easy it is to get down the slope.
Motherfucker the same happened to me when I tried to use this.. contraption. Only it happened right in the middle of the path, and the whole thing had to be stopped for me to safely get out of others' way. To make matters worse, that was when I went snowboarding with my then-crush [sp]thankfully she was waiting for me far up the hill and didn't see anything[/sp]
