not surprising when you consider a lot of news stations are owned by the same people and have access/copy directly from each other

"You guys know that most local news is handled by just a handful of* stations. The main stories aren't written for each channel they are written and distributed to the affiliates to be read. They do that with radio for the large part too. For that matter most of what you read as news on the internet or on newspapers is just a direct copy of the Associated Press write up on the story with possibly minor tweaks or crops for the audience they are reaching."

Do we really know the rest?
That actually is kind of fucking scary...
More like horrifying. If all the news stations cull the same stories and add a slight little twist on them; and that's all we're presented, makes you wonder what you're not being told about.
I'm no conspiracy loon, but I mean seriously: when was the last time you saw some footage of combat in Libya - or any footage of military action on your generic news station? I don't watch TV much anymore, so I'm actually asking this question. :v:
wow he does this a lot

"I scream 'you know the rest', you scream 'you know the rest'"
thats what I got from them
It's blocked in my country.
Just a bunch of new stations literally repeating the same line, "You don't need us to tell you that gas prices are back on the rise". That's really all it is.

I scream, you scream, we all scream because the media feeds us sensationalist, fear-mongering lies.

I think it's because he was using 90% of his thought process to mate hand gestures with each word the teleprompter gave him.

This is still really creepy since it demonstrates how just a few people own most news media.

i find it quite disconcerting that most of our media is controlled by only a handful of profit-driven corporations.
It's slightly scarier when you add the voices together
