I sure do love a good tasing. Wish there was more context, though.
Tejawn Edwards, 25, was visibly drunk and hostile when he and his friends were told they could not board their airline. Police said Edwards was threatening to kill the officers and was throwing punches before they deployed the TASER.
All thats said in regard to the video
I meant in the video. It's more satisfying when you can see the lead-up.
Are tasers all that bad for people? I always hear people screaming and freaking out like some one is dying in tasing videos... but I thought the point was that it was a non-lethal or damaging means of incapacitating someone.
Hah, this is like 10 minutes from me.

I think I know exactly where this is in the airport. [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline] ffs [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
Are tasers all that bad for people? Pretty sure he was referring to the screaming bystander(s).
Hah, this is like 10 minutes from me.
I'm guessing you live in one of the louder parts of town, then
Yes. :( I actually hear airplanes a couple times a day, especially when the weather is bad, which is to say always unless it's summer.
Better than being shot
Depends on where you're shot. If it was somewhere inconsequential, like the foot/leg, then your body would release insane amounts of adrenaline, which then nulls all your pain. It's very common for soldiers in war to not notice until long after a shootout is over to notice a bullet has taken a chunk out of them. [editline]4th July 2013[/editline] TASER's on the other hand don't do that.

Despite what most people think, getting shot in the leg is the absolute last place you want to be hit.
Someone's going to shout 'Hurr Durr Police brutality' regardless of the situation. Its like the cops can't even fucking do a thing without people saying that. And then they go on about police state, 1984 etc.
why does a cop post these on facepunch?
Nothing like a full dosage of full strength "act right".
