really good series, but i only played 1 and 2 cause i dont want to be buying all these games like seriously couldn't they just have made 3
I hope the multiplayer in BBS is still there.
This is the pack I actually wanted because BBS wasn't brought over to the Vita, and replaying KH2 will be fun as well.
Jesus christ, the 3rd installment of this game is STILL not out yet?
just make 3 already god

It's coming out for ps4 and the ps4 isn't even released yet.
I'm looking forward to 2.5.2.1

At least we know they're developing it
altho not named like it should have been, KH2 could easily be considered KH3
technically, its the third game, if you want to bother looking at it like that

It's just strange since they have been releasing "2.5" "3D" seemingly deliberately avoiding to make the 3rd version.

3d is actually the last tie in before 3 as far as plot is concerned.

2015

I just really hope it's also online, too. It only had local multiplayer on the PSP, sadly.
Kingdom Hearts is such a strange series. It's product placement in the worst way, but it's products we grew up with and love with really fun gameplay and an interesting, if somewhat confusing, story on top.
No game will ever induce as much hype in me as kingdom hearts 2 did for me as a kid.

To help explain, if you played KH, then KH2, you'd be missing a lot of information because KH chain of memories came between them (both in timeline and in release date). Even though the gameplay for CoM is different, theres a lot of information that you would miss that needs to be explained to understand KH2. And, every game that came out after KH2 extends the storyline, and I think should be considered full games. They are spin-offs because they're made on different devices and have somewhat differing gameplay, but the story for each game is, I think, important and contributes to the entire Kingdom Hearts universe. I'm honestly not sure why they did it this way, but this is just the way I see it. I'll always think of CoM has KH2, KH2 as KH3 and 358/2 Days as KH4. It makes sense that way.

358/2 Days could also be considered in the same way as CoM, being in between the storyline and all that, but I think it would be more enjoyable if you played it after KH2, seeing as it was released this way.
Got to re-play 1.5 on my friends PS3.
Can't wait for 2.5, then my body will be ready for 3.
I've never actually got around to finishing KH2 even though I finished KH1 when it came out. Mostly all the spinoffs and the lack of a sequel at the time put me off. Maybe I'll finally get around to it now :v:

Days helps fill the blank of what the hell happened to Roxas during all that time he spent in the Organization, and why he has two Keyblades. Re:Coded on the other hand.. Well, Re:Coded has a few factors of plot here and there worth noting, but it's probably the most ignorable game in the franchise (so I don't mind it being cutscene-only unlike Days at least).
I'd say KH1 -> CoM -> KH2 -> Days -> BBS -> DDD is probably the best method to tackling the series, and when 2.5 comes out, that means you only need 1.5, 2.5, and DDD to fill the entire series' gap before KH3.
Birth By Sleep was fantastic, probably my favorite in the series
So I take it this is actually a compilation of KH games? Heck I wouldn't mind that, last one I played was Re:coded, and I enjoyed that.
I haven't played any of the other games between that and KH1/KH2 tho, it kinda got a little silly.
Them fans are getting milked for all they are worth.
Them fans are getting milked for all they are worth.
They'd be getting milked if they resold all the games individually. If anything, this reduces the milking by basically making it so only three games are required to get the full story of the franchise so far, instead of seven across 3-4 different platforms.
Oh god yes
Being able to play the final mix version of Birth By Sleep
Colour me hyped!

Dude, the only people buying this are people who have played the games. Which some of them have probably bought the countless spin-offs, mobile/card games, etc.
I ain't saying having the games bundled in a nice HD collection is bad, but they are totally milking the series with every little nub of fan fiction they can come up with.

I'm not complaining.
The final mix versions of the games didn't get released outside of Japan
Plus, HD is always nice to have

You don't know how successful series' work do you?
Considering I never got the chance to play Birth By Sleep and wanted the Final Mix of KH2 badly, looks like I'll end up getting this.
I never got to play Birth by Sleep, so this is perfect for me. Plus Final Mix always contains bonus cool stuff and that shit never gets released in America. So I think this is a good buy for both veteran players and newcomers.
