I'd buy it. Even reading the word "Dreamcast" makes me happy with nostalgia. It had a great catalog of unusual and interesting games, not just shooter shooter shooter sports racing.

I get that the dreamcast had some amazing games, but I'm struggling to see why you would all would buy a second gen one. Does nobody remember all the shit that SEGA has done recently to fuck over own franchises? Especially that little blue hedgehog with a MILLION FUCKING FRIENDS.

If you want the Dreamcast 2 to be a success, First announce it as a complete suprise to everyone, then while your at it announce Remakes of all the really popular Dreamcast games, Shemune 3, Space channel 5 Part 3, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure 3 (Combine Sonic adventure 1 and 2 together, fuck the other dumb shit they were doing), Etc.While making Exclusive version of games you made that were good like Lets Tap, Bayonetta, Sonic Colors, Etc.
And they all come out on launch date.
Thats the best way they can fucking dominate the industry.
If they make it like the fist so that it's easy for people on the internet to make games for it, it would make me want to buy it more.
Sega hasn't published a decent Sonic game in years what makes people think they are capable of publishing a capable console. Dreamcast wasn't that great of a console. If you take off your nostalgia glasses you would realize that the only reason the console was so highly appraised is the games that platform carried. If any of these other games had been published on a different console, chances are it would have received the same praise.
For the console itself, inferior netplay, blocky controller, and while innovative, totally underused vmu unit.
Your comparing the dream-cast to modern day consoles. For its time it was way ahead in terms of technology and advancement in the race.
The original Xbox was basically the Dreamcast 2. Many of the developers from Sega who made the Dreamcast were hired by Microsoft to make the Xbox. Also just look at the controllers if you don't believe me.
