Lucky bastard.
He's distracting them till mommy gets there.
My thoughts go out to the family of this poor man, I hope he recovers from this vicious attack. Poor guy never stood a chance.
rip in peace
Either the cub was playfighting, or it was fighting in self-defense. Nonetheless it's kind of adorable in a violent sort of fashion (or is it violent in an adorable sort of fashion?).
rip in peace in peace
I was half expecting mom to bound in from the fog and maul one of them.
I would run so fast if I ever saw a baby cub, fuck messing with a mother bear. I dont care if the cub was being all cute and licking me and whatever the bear equivalent of a cats purr is. The mom would just come up and rip my face off and walk away as if nothing happened. Mother bears are very rude.
The man later died in a hospital due to a lethal dose of cute.
This was in the related: dawww IT'S SO FUCKING FLUFFY I CAN'T CONTAIN MYSELF
^ Holy shit, it's so cute when he is tilting his head to understand then he finally gets it and starts howling.
I want domesticated mini-bears.
Wait till the bear grows up and starts playing like that, in for some real rough housing!

what a GRIZZLY situation
In that fog the mother bear could've got within 10 meters before you could see it at all :v:
I think the only other animal scarier than a bear would be being face to face with a full grown silver back gorilla.

I just watched a documentary (or show, I can't remember) on Animal Planet about people who fed bears and wolves and lived with and trusted them. Half of them ended up being killed by the animals, even after years of bonding. Not sure how I feel about the guy with the polar bear or the baby wolf. I guess maybe it's okay if it's something that they've been accustomed to since infancy, but it's very hard to drive out millions of years of primal instincts.
Not sure how I feel about the guy with the polar bear or the baby wolf.
it's not actually a baby wolf. it's just a Pomeranian puppy.
