Kind of surprising that it's been a year already. Cello suite 1 prelude? Come on guys, that's for snobby TV commercials.
"It's translucent, you can see everything inside! So cool!" Steve jobs was just good at talking out of his ass.
I got an Iphone a couple days ago because of my upgrade plan and I like it. Is it still okay for me to complain and hate on apple?
"... holds a thousand songs, and goes right into my pocket" Well, doesnt every other mp3 player do that too?
"... holds a thousand songs, and goes right into my pocket" Well, doesnt every other mp3 player do that too?
are you really criticizing a steve jobs quote from 2001
"... holds a thousand songs, and goes right into my pocket" Well, doesnt every other mp3 player do that too?
I'm sorry but seriously, stop trying to rant on Apple stuff that was actually pretty innovative when it was launched. That generation of iPod / Apple MP3 player was innovative for it's day and age. It's not anymore, my phone can also hold a thousand songs and more if I'd want it to, but what you're saying there is essentially saying "what, cars didn't have airbags back in 1955?". Apple can be annoying with the whole patent thing, I'm not personally too much of a fan of apple but jesus christ, give them credit where credit is due.
Old apple was OK when they were actually doing stuff, but now it's minor changes to phones and fucking their customers over by changing the connector thing to charge the phone, making people buy adapters or new accessory things.

That connector is old as shit; it's from the first generations of iPod. The new one is smaller, which makes it easier for the iPhone 5 to be as thin as it is. Apple can't just keep the same plug on their devices forever. Eventually a switch needs to be made.
Shame he was a bit of a dickhead to people :(

Yes, it's a legitimate complaint, but it's not something people can seriously expect to happen. Apple's had their own format cable since the dawn of time.
micro USB isn't ambidextrous that's probably the biggest advantage of Lightning - it doesn't matter which way you plug it into the phone say what you want about apple being proprietary as fuck - I don't agree with it either - but once Lightning is standard across all iOS devices we'll be right back where we were with the old connector

It's a pretty nice design.
Lighting is way better than any current form of USB, the only downside is that it's proprietary, and I'm not trying to ignore that as though it's not a problem. But from a technical and functional standpoint it's better designed, and it even feels better when you put it in.
Cello suite 1 prelude? Come on guys, that's for snobby TV commercials.

snobby
yeah i dont see anything wrong here ?
"... holds a thousand songs, and goes right into my pocket" Well, doesnt every other mp3 player do that too?
No back in the day we had something that people called CD's and cassettes. MP3 players with a harddrive were expensive as shit back then and this was suppose to a cheaper/better alternative.
i wonder if foxconn employees are forced to watch this before work
but seriously apple are you even trying to remember steve? ive made a much better steve tribute video to remember the genius, the revolutionary, and our savior to technology

It never really was a big thing around here.
i wonder if foxconn employees are forced to watch this before work
It's playing loudly on the roof.
