Death Grips has been smoking too much /tv/ memes [editline]7th February 2016[/editline] Man I love Death Grips but this is shit
????
yeah i love death grips but this one is too much
????
The song is not random notes, it's just very fast black speed death electro metal shit. I didn't really like Jenny Death that much either except for a few songs. I guess I liked DG when they had interesting song structure and rhythm, haven't really liked their direction since government plates. Money Store is still one of my favorite albums ever though.
BLUBLBUBLBUBLUHBLUH BLUH BLUH BLUH BLUH BLUH BLUH BLUUBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUH (hothead)
And today I figured out I like Death Grips. For some reason it reminds me of The Locust.
And today I figured out I like Death Grips. For some reason it reminds me of The Locust.
The Money Store and Jenny Death are generally considered to be their best projects, but if you like the song in the OP I might recommend checking out Niggas on the Moon or Government Plates first.
I wish they would make something as coherent as The Money Store again. I liked Jenny Death but this makes me feel like they're going back to niggas on the moon and I wasn't into that album at all.
That was horrible what the fuck This sounds more like a parody of death grips than the real thing
The Money Store and Jenny Death are generally considered to be their best projects, but if you like the song in the OP I might recommend checking out Niggas on the Moon or Government Plates first.
I don't know anyone who's really into jenny death, it's usually the money store, exmilitary, or maybe no love deep web that people call their favorites.
I don't know anyone who's really into jenny death
I think On GP is one of their best songs across all of their albums.
and thus death grips found out their fanbase will still gobble up their shit even if they release what's equivalent to audio diarrhea straight into their ear canal
I think On GP is one of their best songs across all of their albums.
Definitely one of their strongest lyrically.
last night three thirty in the morning death on my front porch can feel him itching to take me with him hail death fuck you waiting for like a question no one mention he turns around hands me his weapon he slurs use at your discretion its been a pleasure stefan
Inanimate Sensation, The Powers That B, and Why A Bitch Gotta Lie are classics too.
if this is an average death grips song we'll probably all like it after a few listens
and thus death grips found out their fanbase will still gobble up their shit even if they release what's equivalent to audio diarrhea straight into their ear canal
A lot of DG is audio diarrhea and thats what makes it good, but this is uninspired diarrhea
the thing about Death Grips that i love is that a lot of their tracks i don't really like at all on the first listen, but somehow i can't stop listening to to it more to understand why i don't like it. and then in doing so, i learn to like the song for things i didn't notice before or appreciate. i don't know if that means i fool myself into liking them or if they're genuinely good, but i can safely say Death Grips keeps it fresh with all of their releases and that's really hard to do these days. it's weird to describe. it's like, even if it's a bad track, it's still so much fun for me to unravel the layers to each of their songs because there is so much shit going on, and then it becomes a good track to me. all of their tracks just pull me in. [editline]7th February 2016[/editline] love how you guys shit on this song after one listen lol
Okay track, but imo nowhere near as good as Jenny Death.
I think On GP is one of their best songs across all of their albums.
yeah but a lot of jenny death just very average niggas on the moon is the better album out of the powers that b
Sounds very outsider. Death Grips have always been polarizing so it doesn't surprise me that people on here are hating on their more abstract stuff.
When the song actually starts a minute in, I love it.
i dont know why but i love it then again im the person who listens to staple tapeworms to my penis unironically so
Sounds like Death Grips to me.
Sounds like Death Grips to me.
OH NO BLUHBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUHBLUH
and thus death grips found out their fanbase will still gobble up their shit even if they release what's equivalent to audio diarrhea straight into their ear canal
have ever heard of noise music?

^the fucking "EEEEE"
i was underwhelmed by most of jenny death but i really enjoyed this
It's a big song, for Death Grips. All the other ones I've heard seem to be much shorter.
I think On GP is one of their best songs across all of their albums.
Just randomly listened to On GP cause of your post and out of curiosity about Death Grips, and now I got it stuck in my head. Specifically the instrumentals, do they ever release instrumentals to their songs? I like the lyrics/vocals but the instrumentals just blow me away every time for some reason
