Well holy crap, The Sims 4! This... surprises no one. Here's all the information that's out there on announcement day
I love LGR.
Fuck sake, I just got The Sims 3 late last year. I'm sick of starting over.
Calling it now:
The Sims 4
The Sims 4: Pets
The Sims 4: Seasons

Yes, that's the list of expansions that will be worth getting.

Thing I love about the Sims is that it's one of those games with a fuuuuckton of expansions, but there are only a few worth getting, and you aren't missing out on much considering that there are mods and shit out there.
When Sims 2 had pets as an expansion, I assumed that 3 would have pets already included in the game.
It's kinda dumb that Sims 3 had the same expansion as the previous game. Wouldn't it make sense to make bonus content from the previous game into initial content on the sequel?

Even the first Sims had an expansion for pets. This is how it's always been.
It's not viable to remake all of the previous content into the new game and they're potentially losing money that can be milked by releasing it as a separate expansion.

Not if you're in love with money, lots of money
i typed too slow gg
What they need to do is bring back Open For Business, I've played that expansion pack for days.
I'll be very pissed if they don't, like what they did with Ambitions.

You're not being forced to start over, plus its coming out next year. You have plenty of time to play what you have.

the way some people whine about game releases leads me to believe that they're robots with chips in their brains that prevent them from playing older games in a series
remember Battlefield 4? Same basic idea with this.
I kinda like the new look of the sims if those tiny pics are anything to go by. The remind me more of Sims 2 sims, not Sims 3 sims.
So less puffy faces and actually distinguishable features. Big plus.
Now get rid of the god damn rabbit holes.
Online sims? What.

Yeah, the thing I disliked the most about Sims 3 was how the sims actually looked. They all kinda look the same IMO.
