My feelings for the Weather Underground shall always remain the same as when I was younger... What a bunch of fucking idiots.
Oh, this isn't about the web site.
Hopefully you didn't figure that out after watching the entire film

Hes prob. thinking of the website :v:
Why do you say that? I have my views but I wanna hear what you gotta say.
I consider them to be apart of the proto-Militia Movement, which was mostly formed as you'd imagine during the 60's Counterculture, and for the most part were completely batshit regarding how to go about goals and potential revolutionary activities. They went about bombing random buildings, most of which had no connection to the US Government or had such lackluster connections that it puts Timothy McVeigh at a run for his money in sheer stupidity for the point of the attacks. The "Days of Rage" which they did in the late 60s/early 70s were generally speaking without purpose or coordinate effort, and instead were plainly based on just going to a certain part of town and wrecking shit. Like put this in your mind and explain how you would feel about it... Imagine if a militia group like the Praetorians, USCrow, or Oathkeepers decided that the best way to reach a larger audience was to go up and down Mexican neighborhoods in places like SoCal and try to convince Mexican voters to vote for pro-Militia candidates by setting fire to the neighborhood, vandalizing homes owned by recently documented migrants, and flipping cars over and lighting them ablaze. All the while attacking police officers with baseball bats, chains, and brass knuckles. Apply that concept and revision this during the late 60's and early 70's... Welcome to the Weathermen Underground. Hell, if you actually listen to some of the shit they are saying to press reporters in the video, it's almost on-par with the current retards wandering around our universities these days who encourage people to attack reporters for filming vandalism and the like.

I'd wager that most every of their attacks was either on a US Government related target or some political target.
My view is this is a documentary on how NOT to conduct a revolution in the US. If you want to win, it will have to bloodless. Culture war, legal warfare or through finance would be the best means to win.
were plainly based on just going to a certain part of town and wrecking shit.
Thats the strange part. Most people when they talk about revolution, they think just blowing up a few mail boxes is what constitutes winning. So it tells me theyare frustrated idiots. If you watched they film, you would realize very quickly if violence is used what so ever, ends up being the nail in the coffin. Not to mention the government is very sophisticated at infiltrating and bringing down internal violent organizations. They are however, not very sophisticated or very willing to take down multibillion corporations who own a few senators in the form of regular campaign contributions.
