Not the best place to post my opinion, but man is this stuff unpleasant to listen to

It's an acquired taste.
It's an acquired taste.
literally this, i know people (including myself) who didn't like death grips until one day they just suddenly start liking death grips
"So what's the premise of this music video?"
"This shoe fucked your wife"
Creating good music videos 101. All jokes aside, my favorite Death Grips video is the one for On GP

Yep, I listened to the Money Store years ago thinking "what the fuck is this bullshit" and then I listened to it again and thought "wow this is great". It just clicked or something.
this is fucking hilarious
It's an acquired taste.
No fucking kidding. Hot Head sounded like pure trash to me despite liking all their prior work up until a week ago now I can't get it out of my head.
Think this video is proof they're still very self-aware and at least publicly not taking themselves seriously.

On GP is probably one of their best songs in my opinion, as well as one of the better music videos they have.
I loved Death Grips since the moment I heard Guillotine. Seeing them live was the best concert of my life. I hope they go out in a blaze of glory fitting for MC Ride and Zach.
their new album is actually pretty good
Ring a bell best track on BP
Followed by spikes

to be fair this song and Hot Head (the first two tracks off their newest album) are some of their most abrasive work yet
on an unrelated note this video is fucking hilarious
It's an acquired taste.
I wouldn't call it an acquired taste. A lot of their stuff you can enjoy on first listens.
I guess their more out there aggressive stuff is the stuff that everyone picks out to go "lol wtf is this" while their more regular fare (and generally more accessible) stuff like On GP or I've Seen Footage or even more inbetween stuff like Klink remain in obscureland
It's kinda frustrating. It's really frustrating, actually.

Ring A Bell is so good but so short :(
aren't death grips just the epitome of Poe's law
it literally sounds like speedcore garbage
not saying you're bad or stupid for liking it but.. it's very difficult to listen to, for me

Three bedrooms in a good neighborhood is definitely up there too
I liked BB Poison a lot. It's good music to take a shit to

I'm seeing these guys live in September. I hear the moshpits are fucking intense. Here's to hoping I don't die.

don't think you really understand what speedcore is. dg aren't speedcore.
Did [del]AlanTutorial[/del] howtobasic direct this?
Did AlanTutorial direct this?
nope, death grips directed it
I wouldn't call it an acquired taste. A lot of their stuff you can enjoy on first listens.
tbh I would say that anyone would enjoy Hacker if you put it on because it's a pretty ""normal"" song, most of the money store i'd say is a good introductory album to what you should expect from death grips
Again.

This was the song that got me into death grips, so far i haven't found another song that i can get into as hard as this one from them.
That guitar just gets me every fuckin' time
