I thought lightning would be a huge problem when getting to very high fps. Nice not that type of lightning you chub
Sounds like what PC gamers will say is masterrace in 2025
I just watched Jamie Jamie Hyneman rapid fire a pistol. My life is complete.
I thought lightning would be a huge problem when getting to very high fps. Nice
Lightning doesn't tend to pose much of a threat, regardless of your FPS. Now lighting, on the other hand...
if you can't watch the video for whatever reason (I couldn't), have a reupload. [vid]http://uc.tempic.3kv.in/3d/9a90dbf68b22/mythbustersthing.mp4[/vid]
I can't believe the video was that short, I want more.
I missed the film part and assumed fps meant feet per second.
I thought lightning would be a huge problem when getting to very high fps. Nice
They ran it by Zeus and he was cool with it. :v:
Fucking Windows XP?
Fucking Windows XP?
yeah people use outdated shit to run certain programs i went to a hospital a few weeks ago and literally saw one of the nurses using 98
I can't believe the video was that short, I want more.
have a 10 minute video of bullets flying, getting fired and hitting things in slow motion
I can't believe the video was that short, I want more.
What more is there to see?
Fucking Windows XP?
On a Macbook Pro it looks like.

Wow, I didn't even know some high-speed cameras could record up to 73,000 frames per second, that's insane.
Finally they got their hands on a proper high speed camera, I always wondered why Mythbusters didn't have a Phantom camera around.
Wow, I didn't even know some high-speed cameras could record up to 73,000 frames per second, that's insane.
Oh you really ain't seen shit then :v: Some of Phantoms cameras can go up to 1 million fps. Extreme high speed cameras have been around for quite a while.
The problem with high fps is you need to store all of it. Think of trying to store 1mil frames at decent res in a second.
The problem with high fps is you need to store all of it. Think of trying to store 1mil frames at decent res in a second.
"decent res" being 128 x 32 or similar? I dunno, fast flash memory seems to handle the job pretty well.
"decent res" being 128 x 32 or similar? I dunno, fast flash memory seems to handle the job pretty well.
flash memory isnt fast enough, high speed cameras use a shitload of ram
not that type of lightning you chub
What other types of lightning are there? [t]http://vgy.me/V4LOQz.png[/t]
What other types of lightning are there? [t]http://vgy.me/V4LOQz.png[/t]
As a non native english speaker I understand the confusion.
What other types of lightning are there? [t]http://vgy.me/V4LOQz.png[/t]
Oh, now I know why my English teacher was constantly telling me that I was doing something wrong last week. Thanks for letting me know about the difference between those two words. [editline]19th August 2015[/editline] Still a chub tho
As a non native english speaker I understand the confusion.
Understandable, I know a staggering number of native speakers who make the same mistake. :v:
I'd like to see an MG-42 filmed with one of those
The IS uses similar hi-tech cameras to document their killings sometimes.
