A dude directly over your shoulder telling you exactly what to do around every corner.
The true Dark Souls experience.
EDIT:
If you really have to drop information on her that she could figure out herself, at least let it be basic information like how to sprint or roll.
The video is painful to watch because of that. And did you actually change the controls, forget how to sprint and then just go "yeah you probably wont need that"? If there's information a new player will need, it's exactly the controls, not specific shit like going to the side when going up those stairs. That's supposed to be a surprise.
Your avatar was my reaction when seeing this topic.

The drivers messed up and the controls were all backwards. That was my bad for not checking them before starting.
As for sprinting.. I told her she wouldn't need it because I really don't think it would have mattered. She has never played anything other than Facebook games and Sims 3. She just wanted to try because she saw me playing dark souls 2 and thought it looked pretty. She doesn't understand the logic or control schemes of games. I went over them with her roughly on the ps3.. but well.. As I said.. driver issue.
I was hoping she would continue playing and get better. Fixed the controls after the video, but she got too frustrated after about half an hour. She would panic and button mash, and never quite got how to control the camera.
I'm thinking of trying to have her play some older games off camera to get used to things before I try anything this ambitious again.
This may be cute/funny to you because it's your girlfriend playing and whatnot but to anyone else this is nothing but a really boring "let's play" without any niche to it.
Sorry to say but this kind of video will probably not be accepted anywhere but within your friends and family circles.
I'm just glad I'm getting feedback at this point, even if it is negative. I usually get none and then I have no clue.

When did you import her?
Sort of been said already but she seemed like she was having fun until you started to tell her what to do, stuff like this is more entertaining if you just leave them be. Plus with you trying to find other ways to make it work it kinda seems like you're just trying to monetize her :v:
Jesus you're talking about her like she's a fucking child or a dog or some shit
Not really sure what audience this would appeal to. If I wanted to watch someone be bad at video games I would just go watch DSP.
