I bet they're cheaper than the in-game one.
Should've done the classic CS 1.6/CS:S knife instead. [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/cswikia/images/5/50/W_knife_source.png/revision/latest?cb=20140709195324[/t]
That's not a butterfly knife, that's a butterfly machete! :v:
I felt that the scale of the butterfly knife may have been off, but it was still cool nonetheless Neat though that the older brother made a knife out of a gun :v: I still kinda think that they should have done the standard knife as FloaterTWO said.
Why is the butterfly knife so huge? Good luck flipping that without ending yourself
i'm wondering where he got the nice micarta for the grips on the butterfly, great pattern welding btw.
butterfly sword
It is nice to see that they are doing kind of personal inspired builds now. That butterfly turned out too huge tho,

This is strangely calming to watch

[editline]28th July 2015[/editline] As much as I love how the CS:GO butterfly knife looks, the knife before 1.6 was awesome and I would love a knife model made with its animations [editline]28th July 2015[/editline] And on top of that, the 1.6/Source knife should be a skin variant for every knife. Very simple and desirable.
back in 1.6 i used to think the knife had headcrab blood on it weird times, goldsrc was
Doesn't the ingame karambit have a plastic grip?
Doesn't the ingame karambit have a plastic grip?
Well yeah, but come on, full metal no grip is far better, and looks awesome. That balisong tho, literally machete sized.
full metal no grip is far better, and looks awesome.
It would look a lot better with a nice paracord grip.

The producers really wanted me to put an additional handle on it, as did Matt but I liked the way it was. I really kinda hate the plastic / rubber handles
karambit's don't really need anything fancy anyways. I prefer them bare as opposed to micarta/G10
Should've done the classic CS 1.6/CS:S knife instead. [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/cswikia/images/5/50/W_knife_source.png/revision/latest?cb=20140709195324[/t]
that acid etching on the blade looks dope, but it's pretty expensive to do for a home blacksmith. still one one, though.
The producers really wanted me to put an additional handle on it, as did Matt but I liked the way it was. I really kinda hate the plastic / rubber handles
It's definitely really intimidating, just like in-game. Awesome stuff.
*dies* "OOH HEADSHOT"
The producers really wanted me to put an additional handle on it, as did Matt but I liked the way it was. I really kinda hate the plastic / rubber handles
Honestly it looked like it's missing something without a grip. Would also have been sick if you found a way to make it red. Also I guess you guy's got too used to making huge swords, that butterfly was made for Shaq.
that butterfly knife
They are both sitting here for refinishing before we ship them to the producers. Ill get a size and let you know. The butterfly is big but im a pretty big guy, doesn't seem huge to me. [editline]30th July 2015[/editline] Buck, we could have used the candy apple spray we used on the scissor blade as it shows the patterwelding right through the color.
the butterfly's a bit large, but from my experience in real life with them, as long as it isn't too heavy it's still very easily usable I have a lot of respect for you guys and your builds - metalworking is really interesting to me. It's impressive how accurate they both came out in terms of shape and appearance.
