Looks a lot like 'The Thing', and Lance Henriksen hasn't aged well.
I backed this project on Kickstarter. The majority of the crew made the anamatronics and stuff for the last The Thing, and they were extremely disappointed when they found out that all their hard work was covered up with shoddy CG, so they wanted to make a movie where there was no CG monsters. It's really going back to the old John Carpenter's The Thing and being pretty loyal to the real fear of something more tangible than something that barely even crosses the uncanny valley. The Thing on a ship? Can't wait
Why do studios nowadays just suck at trailers. Look at this one. Just look at it. Fuckin intense and awesome. Notice how they made extra stuff such as the egg just for the trailer? And made it a little bit artistic? Nowadays all you get is a chronological cut from the beginning to the end, hoping that the trailer won't spoil everything while some dude with an audiogenic voice mumbles cheesy lines.

The acting doesn't look like anything special, apart from Henriksen, but I might just see this to support their practical effects.
