did they ever end up getting the rights to spidey for this?
because the only way they're accurately retelling civil war is with spidey

He has a fight scene in it apparently

Marvel and Sony now own him 50/50
He's going to be in the movie but they're cockteasing the shit out of him. Two costumes apparently, too.
I don't know why people hate on the Marvel movies so much, they 'successfully' made a cohesive story line for so many movies. Even though the tone of every movie is quite cookie-cutter I always find the actual movies are quite engaging. Not to mention they made the fight scenes into something more then fight scenes; they're almost like catalogs for Power Levels.
It's a modern theater serial.
which is exactly what I love about it.
Black Panther tho.
"he was my friend"
'So was I'
ouch. That hurts...
Wow that looks really good.
I doubt we'll see anything of Spiderman till the Superbowl clip.
If the advertising team wants to make the biggest splash the quickest with the reveal of Spiderman along side cap/iron man, that is the perfect time to do it.
Especially if there's a scene of Tony vs Spiderman or Cap vs Spiderman and they have a really good joke that Spiderman says during the fight and like 5-10 seconds of the actual fight.
That will probably be the biggest ad of the superbowl if they do it right.

The Captain America films have done pretty well to differentiate themselves from the rest of the MCU catalogue though, the first felt like an old school pulpy radio serial style adventure film and the second felt almost like a spy film. Civil War again seems to be angling itself a little differently, its in the same tonal area as The Winter Soldier, but the scale of Civil War is not something that's been seen in the standalone hero Marvel films yet.
I wouldn't have thought it going into the MCU initially, but the Captain America films are by far my favourite part of the MCU. It is helped by Chris Evans' performance, he really sells just how nice of a guy Steve Rogers is.
I'm really excited for this, I've loved all the mcu movies so far.
Hey look, it's the Avengers sequel, good edition.
That looked pretty amazing, and was out of nowhere too unless I am mistaken.
I'm slightly more interested than I would normally be for a superhero movie!
I hope this ends up being good

People hate on the marvel movies?
People hate on the marvel movies?
Why, yes... they do...? Maybe not so much recently after the really good Avengers 2; but yes they get A LOT of flak from a LOT of critics.

Oh, critics. I ask because I've not heard of anyone complaining, as far as I knew everyone loved them.
People hate on the marvel movies?
most of them are garbage with empty plots, some are good, some are great.

Did you like the Dark Knight?
the marvel movies started taking a dip after iron man 1. I haven't seen the incredible hulk, but iron man 2, thor, and the first captain america were SEVERELY underwhelming.
then avengers came out and made up for it all. I know it's not the best film ever, but goddamn was it good imo. iron man 3 was eh, didn't bother with the second Thor movie, and winter soldier, ant man, and guardians killed it. avengers 2 wasn't as good as those films, but it was still keeping the momentum.

I don't hate them, they're just average action movies to me. They became unimpressive after I watched several of them.
but ill say the best marvel movies are basically guardians of the galaxy and the winter soldier
im looking forward to this one mainly because the russo brothers are back to do civil war after winter soldier
ant-man was also pretty good
but yeah top 3 are definitely guardians, winter soldier and ant-man
Guardians and winter soldier were great films on their own
i want iron man to win
Ironman was getting wombo-combo'd
I hated Ultron, didn't mind Ant-Man but felt it was too formulaic.
This looks better but to be fair the early Ultron trailers looked decent, too.
Iron man could slice the two of them apart at the waist with the laser from the ending fight scene of Iron Man 2, hope context in movie is gonna be that he doesn't want to hurt Cap and arm guy and is holding back.
Why pick a fight indoor if you can fly too..
Dumb question: where is Vision?
Dumb question: where is Vision?
Wearing a suit and banging Elizabeth Olsen.
i want iron man to win
I'll be thoroughly disappointed if he doesn't honestly.
