Not as batshit insane. Kids blame it on respective friends' parents, caught coming home with wine on their breath. Dudley drunk as fuck apparently and given some kind of narcotic pill. He says that Horton tried to touch him. Then the police give protips on dealing with molesters.
The fact that this episode aired scares me and gives me the thought that other shows have done something like this.
