Firstly this video was made when the 2004 elections were about to begin, but it seems the guy who filmed this was a pussy and didn't release it to the public (if he would "Basescu" would've been judged and arested for child abuse and he wouldn't have been president for 5 fucking years; and just so you know he did a shitty job,Romania got in the worstest situation ever with him being president). And now after 5 years the 2009 elections are happening,and he finally had the guts to release this video to the public. Everyone is angry at him now,he has no chance of winning again (also if he looses he would be arrested immediately because he did lots of illegal stuff while he had presidential immunity...like helping his brother smuggling weapons)
Also Romania isn't as poor as you think,you can't really find anyone that lives in the city without a decent computer or at least a laptop. And the internet here is pretty decent too (I have a 100 MBps connection so I don't complain)

I am from Romania by the way. I've seen this clip on every TV channel, it's fucking spread everywhere. IN the description it says this happened in 2004.
Anyways it's the president election so we'll see.
