snerp
is this supposed to be something that prevents people from doing these things
planet fitness is a joke of a gym for people that don't go to the gym so they can feel like they're actually going to the gym without doing anything other than paying shekels.
o god i just got a membership there tonight is this what i will become
o god i just got a membership there tonight is this what i will become
Shhhhh, it's okay, there is no judgement here friend :)
Jesus Christ it's the walmart of the gym world.
planet fitness is a joke of a gym for people that don't go to the gym so they can feel like they're actually going to the gym without doing anything other than paying shekels.
Sounds pretty fun to work out in, tbh... As long as you're lifting the heavy weights properly what's the difference?
its for people who want to go to the gym but not actually work out
80's for the ladies [sp]85's for the guys[/sp]
yeah some of the rules there include no shorts, tank tops, or work boots and no deadlifts or dropping free weights also there were no free weights at the one i went to tonight except dumbbells I'ts still pretty cool though they are open 24/7 and aren't that expensive
That one at 3:10, I used to do that all the time on my parents' elliptical when I was a kid.
Sounds pretty fun to work out in, tbh... As long as you're lifting the heavy weights properly what's the difference?
because they actively discourage people who go there to build mass, they only want the casual gym-goers who are only there to jog on a treadmill for 10 minutes.

Looks like something at a McDonalds Play Place. Thank god I go to YMCA.
I kinda wanna go in there set off the alarm now [editline]31st December 2014[/editline]
holy shit was the guy at 0:42 practicing fucking or some shit
Did u see the guy at 2:30?
Planet Fitness is a decent gym and can be used to put on mass/get in shape/etc with what they have. The one in my town has all sorts of cool stuff you can use. When I first went there it reminded me of a theme park because they have just about everything except free-weights except dumbbells. Its just that the gym attracts the weirdest and most casual of lifters and along with its "no judgement" policy is what earns it mocking from the lifting community. My parents go there, but I choose to go to the gym where I can utilize free-weights and workout with a (mostly) normal crowd.
[judgment intensifies]
It took me way too long to realize this wasn't unedited footage of a news segment.
that fucking air raid siren is just awful
Planet fitness is worse than my college gym Fucking disgusting people go there too. Really hate lazy people that want to fool themselves into thinking they are worth something by paying a gym membership to go and sit on a machine and push it. Not that everyone that goes there is like that, but man, its like the walmart of gym people.
Yea... No freeweights? It should be illegal to call itself a goddamn GYM...
"Judgment free zone" Is this a Gym for tumblrettes?
The guy at 2:14 is actually the Master Baiter. He practises lifting heavy fish out of the water with one hand. [editline]31st December 2014[/editline]
"Judgment free zone" Is this a Gym for tumblrettes?
It is not good for business if your main customer base is people who want to lose weight, and your gym is dominated by a small group of dickheads intimidating everyone else. Plus if your idea of fun is to pay for a gym membership so you can take the piss out of people, you're a bellend.
Planet Fitness is entirely made for startups and people who don't feel comfortable going to a regular gym. Interesting note, they don't allow most headgear (like bandannas), and if you come in with a "bro" attitude, you'll be asked to leave. They just want this to create an environment where nervous people can get some body work done without feeling left out. However, there are some pointless restrictions on women, who are basically told "No go exercise over there with smaller weights."
Judgement free zone, whilst being recorded on a phone being judged
the raid siren is pretty obnoxious, guess they gotta have some kinda gimmick not being a real gym and all
because they actively discourage people who go there to build mass, they only want the casual gym-goers who are only there to jog on a treadmill for 10 minutes.
So you're saying it's a good thing that they discourage people that actually know what they're doing, ones who can actually help people be healthy and not break every bone in their body fucking with gym equipment?
