I wouldn't be surprised if Keith Olbermann is being brigaded. His videos used to have 10% downvotes but now they're between 25%-40%; the video tudd posted was the worst to get affected. I'm subscribed to Keith Olbermann and I can tell you previous, older, videos that I watched that used to have minimum downvotes but now they jumped as of recent, and that was like 2-3 days after I watched them.

I think most things inherently have value whether you disagree with it or not. Even this discussion were having here couldn't happen without Tudd posting this video.

Rant mode: I don't like Trump for a myriad of reasons - a LOT of reasons. I also don't like Clinton. One particular thing really urks me about her: and that is the smug, condescending, hypocritical rejection of millions of people because they don't opinion right. Keith here echos this quality clearly while he berates those who support trump: "Humiliate ... those who support him" "Appeasing the [B]cretins[/B]" "[I]Too stupid[/I] to stop while their ahead" There are so many reasons to be upset with Trump, his actions in the past and recently. I am really worried that he is going to pile drive the U.S. into the ground. But literally insulting people, calling them stupid: You will never, not in a [I]million years[/I], convince someone of something by insulting. If ">50% of trump supporters believe he won the popular vote" - talking about why that is wrong according to the counts done is one thing. Saying "you are too stupid to acknowledge fact" is another. Don't get me wrong, it is really hard for me when, as an example, someone rejects the age of the universe / our planet, climate change, evolution, etc. But I don't call them stupid and I try not to think of them insultingly. These are ideas, many have consequences, but just ideas. I am so tired of people everywhere getting pissed off and yelling into the air about how "the other" (individual/group) is x/y/z inextricably until such a time as they agree with my opinion. This happens on both sides, but Keith is the one on the roast today. Please, be critical of Trump. Of all politicians. Don't let them get away with the endless bullshit. Get mad about your president rejecting science. But don't think insulting, belitting the "cretins" that voted for him will help in any way.

If someone is very knowingly and blatantly manipulating evidence and data they really are pretty value-less to listen to; even to understand their side of an argument because by trashing their credibility to the critical eye they are not even doing a service to their point of view. It's why I can hardly stand watching most of the weird alt-right-ish antifeminist youtube channels, but can stand watching (and even follow) a couple like sargon of akkad. Usually when he says some stupid stuff it's genuine and he has shown himself to be willing to retract at the very least, the heinous stuff.
