that's fucking cruel [editline]18th December 2014[/editline] he just fucking stabs it and lets it suffer, what the fuck. He has a gun on his belt, fucking use it. End its suffering.
shit, they blow hogs up with dynamite in Florida

Wow they are really fucking shitty hunters, should have had cut its head off to end its suffering or use the gun he has.

Those are some vicious fuckers and will happily eat your balls even after you've unloaded 20 rounds into them. [editline]18th December 2014[/editline] this video shows what happens when you use bullets on hogs. they take either more bullets than most guns hold, or they lay on the ground kicking until you can get up on them and slit their throats. And the hogs in this video are tiny ones too, not like the ones they have in Florida and along the gulf coast.

And if you've unloaded 20 rounds into em, you're obviously a very shit shot. I never understand why deer are shot in a "humane" way, but animals like these aren't. Just because they are pests, does it mean you should be cruel to it? Seems like pure bloodlust to me. Waste of rounds and a good waste of money too!

Literally the only ways to kill a hog are to either shoot them a lot, or gore them with a sharp object and hope it doesn't just keep charging up the sword or spear and bite you anyway It's not their territory either, boars in the united states are an invasive species.
Wow that 12 gauge really puts them down.
Wow that 12 gauge really puts them down.
It doesn't, if you look they're still kicking after it hits them. That says a lot considering a 12 gauge is essentially the most powerful readily available gun you can get.
Boars are pests, they destroy massive amounts of crops.
They're also an invasive species that drives out the population of animals you want to be there.
Well if that's your point of view on it, fine. Just doesn't seem right to me, even if it's the only way.
I'd love for them to not suffer, but unfortunately the other option is to let them threaten the livelyhood of farmers (and by extension raise the price of all that good food that too many people already can't afford) and let them destroy our country's natural habitats and drive off the native wildlife.

But hogs are fucking aggressive assholes, even when not defending their territories.
it doesn't matter what hogs are. you don't use a freaking sword to hunt with! "but hogs can take so many bullets before dying!" it's still more effective, quicker and more humane than trying to stab them to death with a sword. the guy had the chance there to shoot it point blank in the head. are you gonna tell me that won't be more effective than wiggling a sword around in it's abdomen?

You seem to know a thing or two about em.

We had him in nature studies once since we could chose like one subject (It seemed easy and a nice experience) and he showed us some films about hunting those fuckers. I remeber seeing the hunters running around with what could only be described as fucking handcannons on their belt for this reason. Yes, we got to see them use it to deal the final blow. It was kinda fun seeing the super vegan liberal chick when they got to the part about dividing the meat from the body. To be honest not a bad class and it accually taught me a thing or two that stuck to this day like DONT FUCK WITH BOARS!
A lot of you are saying don't fuck with boars, I mean they're little shits that eat crops, but honestly if you need to hunt them with a 5.56 caliber rifle, or use 12 gauge slugs, you're pretty bad at sport killing.
Well if that's your point of view on it, fine. Just doesn't seem right to me, even if it's the only way.
It's not his point of view, it's simple ecology.

Those are some vicious fuckers and will happily eat your balls even after you've unloaded 20 rounds into them.
Grew up in the backwoods and this is spot on - the exact reason I always carried a long bladed knife or short sword with me when we went on hikes. Boar are far more terrifying than a damn bear. They'll chase your happy ass up a tree and won't leave until one of you are dead. My boss actually has a story about one of his old coworkers who shot a boar. Unloaded .357 rounds into the damn thing's head, and the only killshot was through the eye socket.
They are not worthy of Valhalla
If I had to use a melee weapon I'd rather use a (boar)spear than a sword, that way you don't have to get so close. But if I had the choice I would totally go with an AR-15, maybe with some steel core penetrators.
Wow they are really fucking shitty hunters, should have had cut its head off to end its suffering or use the gun he has.
I doubt he would've been able to cut its head of with this sword.
PS: I'm used to a different kind of boar, I know they can be pretty dangerous. But over at our cabin Germany they cause little to no trouble.. well not on our land anyway. One of em stole some bread from my basement once though. I guess when you have to chase them with helicopters and miniguns and it's totally okay to do it, something must be wrong.

This is what I'm used to seeing: I assumed they where like the rather shy European ones. You think the aggression has to do with the crossbreeding? I heard it could have those sort of effects on animals.

He tried to hit it's heart it seems, obviously didn't hit it properly. Also stop crying over a hog at least cry over something worthwhile, there's plenty of dying humans out there.
