The New, animated, cringeworthy Chuck E. Cheese commercial.

While watching TV I stumbled upon this abomination: the new series of "Chuck E. Cheese" commercials.
I do admit that the message behind this commercial is genuine, but the new animated Chucky Mouse with slack jeans and hyper realistic eyes made me push back in my seat.
Was this really necessary?
I remember seeing these commercials when I was 6 or 7, and my mom took me there once. I really hate how commercial makers think they can get away with the ruthless slaughter of old memories in my childhood.

To be honest, I never really like Chuck E Cheese's commercials in the first place, always found them annoying.
I've never been to a Chuck. E. Cheese. Is the message promoted in the ad applicable to their restaurants?

It's a glorified arcade. The food is pretty terrible.
holy shit a talking mouse
Actually, call me crazy, but this feels like a considerable improvement over the scream-yourself-awake nightmare-fuel of the pudgy, dead-eyed, rapey version you tend to see before... and that's BEFORE you put some poor sad fucker in an ugly looking costume.

truly chuck e cheese material
I remember I went to Chuck E. Cheese for my birthday party, when the big Chuck E. Cheese mascot came out I hid under the table because it scared the shit out of me.
Knock knock! It's me, the ratboy genius~
More seriously, this doesn't look any different than the old chuck-e-cheese, just they replaced the deliriously radical skater motifs of the 90s with a more modern look. It still even has the green and purple, just subdued. (Though I will admit I only ever went to a chuck-e-cheese once, and that was when I was 3 or 4, so I have no particular connection)
i didn't even know those places were still around.
I don't understand how this is so bad. Sorry they destroyed your 90s furry mascot. Do you really care? It's not like if they kept the original mascot, everytime the commercial came on you'd be like "Oh, Chuck E. Cheese, SUCH good memories of that big mouse!".
No, even if they kept the original commercial you'd be like "Let's just fucking get to the show I don't care."
God I hate Chuck e cheeses.
During my 7th birthday, me and my brother were on the stage but the mascot was too close to the edge of the stage because he was standing right behind us and we both fell off and hit our heads WHILE FALLING.
I loathed the place ever since not just for that incident but because of some shit ive seen on videos and no one does anything to stop it.
Chuck E. Cheese's is like the biggest disappointment in all of childhood history. Those places suck big dick. At least at GittiLand (GattiTown in some places) the food tastes okay and has a huge arcade full of the coolest shit. The one I went to had bumper cars INSIDE.

No, that only applies to maybe one or two videos in the related list on the video page. All of these are specific to the video, I got all of the same ones
I never went to Chuck E Cheeses, because there was a better arcade close by called Funspot. It actually had violent video games.
Commercial didn't seem so bad to me. And I like his cgi appearance better than his creepy 90's incarnation.
i remember i use to go there all the time.
and this one time some kid puked up his cheese pizza in the ball pit (looked like he ate a whole block of cheese)
and this other time i had just enough tokens to play this one arcade game but then i dropped them on the ground and this one asshole kid ran up to it and took one. little fucker ran off with my token..
thats pretty much all i have to remember about that place
Seems like a pretty normal commercial to me. All commercials are equally shitty except for the occasional funny one.
geez chuck.e cheese
My only memory of going to Chuck E Cheese was hiding behind my mom whenever he walked by. That dude was terrifying.
The only thing I remember about Chuck E. Cheese was my brother had a birthday party there and he stole all my tokens and my mom wouldn't do anything about it.
"They're not going to grow up today. Not if I can help it." - Chuck E. Cheese
was i just raped

Seriously? When I first saw the new Chuck E. Cheese I was like, "Whoa! He doesn't look like he would cause nightmares to children every time the commercial plays!" Totally relieved that creepy 90's Chuck was gone, no more flashbacks of night terrors caused by stone-eyed monster rats
This feels more like a fucking Folger's commercial.
it was bad, but watchable
I always liked the pizza at Chuck E. Cheese's as a kid, what you guys talking about
