Mission had been going for several hours. Professional behaviour became optional.
Phalanx: "Be careful, we need him alive."
Don't jinx it, dummy!
In stark contrast to the ARMA channel I follow on YouTube.
"Oh fuck this." just about sums the video up.
I was there, 2 little things I'd like to note.
I was the one going crazy with the LMG. The Stoner 99 is an incredible thing.
When the rocket was fired at the end I was the only one to live through it. Took someone 2 more rocket hits to the building for me to finally die.
Every time an FPARMA video is posted I always go "Yeah, I'm gonna gets stuff installed and I'll join up with them and actually play the game vaguely seriously for once!"
I've been doing that for a couple years now and still haven't done it.
Actually, I take that back. I did it once I think. Like the very first time FP did anything at all in ARMA 3. Then I promptly forgot.

lol
Also I don't know why you're so hesitant, its not that hard.

Also I don't know why you're so hesitant, its not that hard.
Its not about being hesitant, I just bounce between games so much. Like I've played like five different games in the last five hours today. So I'm never settled enough to go about getting stuff installed, setting things up, and then actually getting in. Instead I go "Ok, I'll need this and this and... Hey, I wanna go play some Warframe. Ok now I wanna play MGSV. What was I doing here again?" I get really ADD in ARMA.
Also, it's more serious than I've ever played ARMA for. I remember the first time I played ARMA 2 online back in like 2010 in some coop territories game. Everyone was like meeting up in some coastal town, getting stuff set up to roll in to a city to the north. I just got bored, grabbed the biggest sniper rifle I could, and jumped out of a plane in the forest overlooking that city and just started going to town on everyone I could see. I could hear the guy acting as the leader over the radio trying to figure out who was firing, they could hear my goofy ass taking potshots from beyond the draw distance.
Something about ARMA makes me lose my self control .
Well FPARMA only really meets up once a week for 1 large co-op mission. So its not like you have to dedicate yourself.
I played a few ops with them and they were fun. I've been busy a lot lately but otherwise I'd keep playing.
Every time I played someone fucked up or the mission had to be restarted for some reason, or people left in the middle of a match.
or an hour of drawing cocks in the map before we actually start

Obligatory best FPArma moment.
or an hour of drawing cocks in the map before we actually start
FPARMA actually got better at this. Squad lead briefing being done half an hour in advance means we actually get started relatively quickly nowadays.
Not to mention the 15gb download pack.
I remember once this really nasally gold member was so fucking passive-aggressive about leading a squad, going so far as to say to this ex-marine that he knew how to do his job better. One of the airsofters if I recall.
I've had the FPArma mod pack downloaded and been semi-regularly updating it for like six months... still never joined a single session, I will get around to it! I swear!
Do it, you know you want to Jeff.

I've never played Arma 3 aside from that beta from a long while ago, but stuff like this makes me want to.

He broke his spine earlier. Didn't want to give up on the mission, the hero that he is.
Here's my video of the Op (better to bump this thread than make a new one I guess):
Hostage rescue is at the end.
