The only good scene in Resident Evil: Retribution - General

I have to admit as a huge hater of these movies (And who has sworn to see every single one so I can hold the right to continue to make fun of them) I was actually pretty impressed with this scene. It was a cool, unusual way to open a movie and the music was pretty bitchin'. Re-playing it forwards and then having ten minutes of exposition after was pretty fucking stupid though. As was the rest of the movie. But hey.

Everything I see from this is cringeworthy due to all the unbearably long shots of her starting at the camera. Too much of it is designed around 3D.

I like how they all look so fucking stiff while shooting, it's awful.

Pretty bad IMO, I don't even understand why it's running backward, they are copying the Dead Island trailer except that they are doing it with a cliché action sequence, that's just pointless.

the reverse slowmo in the scene is hackneyed and really poorly done, the visual effects are horrendous and jarring, the green screen is so obvious that it's painful, the acting is bad, the music is cliched, and the 'epic' emotion of the scene is contrived. if you like this scene, then you objectively have poor taste.

I had to watch this in cinema, since one of my friends is a huge RE-fan, no matter how awful the material looks. The whole time, I only wanted this movie to end

It's as though the director of these films is some hyperactive mountain-dew addicted 12-year old who wants everything "bad ass" crammed into his films to the point that they just don't make any sense. I liked the first one though, as cheesy as it was.

I don't see many movies, so seeing one that looks so obviously shit is just amazing. The whole way the intro scene here was constructed was just shit, Jill gives face expressions like a pig and shoots like a retarded child. That ending scene was even worse. The way the villain was smug standing still while the two "good guys" from what I can gather prove they can't shoot for shit.

Every frame of this movie is horse shit.

The idea is okay but everything else just looks awful. Why the hell is Milla Jovovich the main "badass" character if she can't even hold a gun? Everytime it shows her with a gun, her hands are just super shaky.
