Not gonna lie, that made me emotional because of my 560 hours I spent on the server

I'm gonna go lie down in bed and reminisce about GMT until I fall asleep. Goddamn trailer nearly brought me to tears and now I feel all melancholic. Love you all.

That was a fitting end. There was a guy genuinely crying on the mic because GMod tower was ending. I loved it all though since I started playing back in 2013.

While I never really played tower much apart from the original launch and when they released the new map, it's still sad to see the gmod version go. Best of luck to the developers and hope you have a successful launch of tower unite.

I'll be entirely honest, I'm sad to see it go but I'm apprehensive about it being turned into a standalone game that will be sold, not to mention the removal of all things licensed but I worry it just wont be the same. Think about about how the project M team ended pm for the sake of their "project wavedash" even if project wavedash was a smash game true and true it just wouldn't be smash to me, the magic of it would be gone. Regardless I wish them the best of luck.

So will the maps etc from the Gmod version still be available? I really like 'em and still want to use em for making screenshots etc. in Sandbox mode.

I remember saving up all my coins to finally buy that Tesla Armor player model. And then I started saving to buy Peach's crown (But it shut down before I could get there ;_;)

Aw what?! I held the 16th place in Blockles at one point. I spent over 50 HOURS racking up that score and you're telling me it was all for NOTHING? But seriously, I had a problem. I would come on the tower at around Midnight when it was empty-ish and play lagless Blockles for hours with some tunes. Why? [url=http://www.gmtower.org/index.php?p=stats&t=blockles]I am 42nd place now[/url] My friend and I made this cheat sheet for minigolf, where we tested shots over and over till we had the near perfect. We'd top the scores, a lot, and usually fight each other for the top place... Hogging the lotto machine with same friend. Quickly hopping in and out of the chair to sell stuff to have more money to keep playing with. Eventually we won like 80K, but split + investment... Not exactly a huge win. Doing impressions of pop culture characters well playing virus for all willing and unwilling to hear. I don't think I am ready for it to end. Or even a new beginning. I just feel like sulking.

Every other gamemode was seemingly dying and being replaced with TTT and DarkRP

Just picked up a EA Tower Unite copy. It's pretty fun so far! I dropped quite a few hours into GMT and had some really fun moments, good luck with the future of Tower Unite!

Proud of you guys. Spent so much time on GMtower with friends and shared a shit ton of laughs. I'll try to purchase a copy of Tower Unite as soon as I can.

I always join in on these things too late, only got to play for a few months before Tower Unite was announced. Sad I couldn't spend more time in it. Backed Tower Unite the moment they put it up though. This should be good :)
