:57 to skip the unfunny bit.
Video is actually shorter than it seems. Ends about 7 or 8 minutes in.
Yeah, it's pretty sad how horrible the timing was for Battleborn. I honestly would have liked to try and play it, but both the price and lack of a staying playerbase prevented me from getting it. I heard some people say that it was very reminiscent of Super Monday Night Combat (Which I loved dearly) and I would have loved to play another game like it.
At least I can still play Overwatch and Paladins.
It's a bummer. I really enjoyed the game. I just wish I could have gotten more time out of it before it bit the dust.
It's a fun game but the campaign gets repetitive with the bulletsponge enemies really fast. Didn't get to play much pvp though.
Battleborn was quite the unique game, and it's such a shame this happened. I still think they could've offset some of this bollocks by doing these few things:
Delayed release until after Overwatch, and launched cheaper at perhaps £20
Stripped down the progression system to just cosmetics
Called it something like 'Borderlands: the MOBA One' and added 1 or 2 well known Borderlands characters
Also, "Overwatch got away with microtransactions because of Blizzard can do no wrong" fuck off Jim.

But it's not Borderlands or anything like it? It has almost literally nothing in common with Borderlands. If they did that, they would literally just be riding off a successful IP (aka milking it) and probably would have gotten more flak than they already did.
I think the best words to fully describe the timing of Battleborn's release would require quotation.
These words that are common, but all the more wiser for those aspiring titan fighters.
