Im getting kind of tired of seeing this guy.
his first video was shit too but for some reason people liked it and so theyre just milking it and its gross
As a general rule of thumb, anyone who aggressively tries to convince you of something on Youtube, is either selling you misconstrued half-truths or exaggerations.
what a dumb statement lmbo, basically shutting peoples arguments down bcus you just refuse to listen wont get u anywhere
He's got great hair, Everything else about him and this channel is straight garbage.
can anyone explain why anything he says here is wrong?
He raised a lot of good points in his first video, but there was just too much dramatic fluff.
I don't believe any of this to be true. Since, you know the economy has some decent highs just on the hype of trump. I'm seeing big returns on investments.

The guy is a very good speaker. Voice is loud and clear. Reminds me of a church minister. Like a church minister, though, he just comes off as preachy.
this. stock market and dow hit record highs the day after election day, can we really say trump has crashed the economy before he's even sworn in?
Because that's just hype. If we take him at his word for his economic policy he's going to explode the national debt and intensify the impending recession.
are we talking pre-election or post-election policy?
I'm talking about his promises such as this https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies/tax-plan/?/positions/tax-reform
he didnt do shit yet regarding the economy other than that one air conditioning company, it's too early to say anything

I think it's hilarious how Trump is using policies that are generally associated with the left, but now the left hates them because Trump is doing it. We constantly hear about how outsourcing is horrible for Americans by the left, but since it's Trump who's actually acting on those beliefs the left is now, somehow, enlightened about free market economics where tariffs are bad.
i dont believe this stuff
i dont believe this stuff
Good refutation
He was a sports announcer. Bernie does have the outsource prevention act he just introduced, which itself is a bit eh. But there's also debate over whether it was introduced to force Trump into a sticky situation which is a pretty interesting but kinda shitty thing to do.

Isn't that basically the same thing as a tariff in effect?
As far as I can tell, Sander's plan is to put a direct tax on companies that outsource. Isn't that basically the same thing as a tariff in effect?
How on earth is a tariff the same as taxing companies that outsource?
can anyone explain why anything he says here is wrong?
No one can explain why he's right or wrong because they don't watch the video. They just see "Keith Olbermann" and say that he's an awful person, and move on, it's getting kind of stale tbh. Do they have good reason? I don't know, depends what people say. Most people never see to say. The only way I can see people having a valid hatred of Keith Olbermann is if they think he's too theatrical/dramatic/aggressive. If that's the case then Keith Olbermann isn't for you.
The thing that somewhat amuses me about the whole thing is that a lot of the people that speak to "argue against the content, not the presenter" are the same ones decrying Keith Olbermann. Difference being that in cases like Project Veritas where I most recently saw that talking point brought up frequently, there was actually significant discredit to the sources in how credible they were and the legitimacy of their information. As far as I know, Olbermann is at least accountable in that regard and researches his claims, and the thing people have issue with is in how it's presented. I could be wrong though, I've only first heard of him when that first thread was posted here a few weeks ago.
As far as I can tell, Sander's plan is to put a direct tax on companies that outsource. Isn't that basically the same thing as a tariff in effect?
Well, his plan takes away tax breaks and deductions and whatnot from companies that leave, so it's not really a tariff.
How on earth is a tariff the same as taxing companies that outsource?
If i remember correctly from my economics class a tax and tarrif have the same exact efffect
If i remember correctly from my economics class a tax and tarrif have the same exact efffect
Pretty much. They're different but achieve a similar result since taxes and tariffs act as discouragement mechanisms and are levied against similar activities in this case. Also I looked and Bernie's plan does indeed feature that 35% import tariff as well. Which is pretty shitty. The protectionism Bernie supports really does irk me even though I generally like him.
I haven't watched any of these videos yet, but taking them at face value of the angry looking dude, and the titles of the videos, is Keith Olbermann a sort of liberal Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity?
Im getting kind of tired of seeing this guy.
He should go back to being a sportscaster, he already lost his job as a political newscaster once until another network picked him up out of sympathy.
I haven't watched any of these videos yet, but taking them at face value of the angry looking dude, and the titles of the videos, is Keith Olbermann a sort of liberal Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity?
Yeah pretty much.

His entire purpose in life is seemingly to relentlessly attack anyone on the right, whether justified or not.
So basically hes the new left alex jones
...no? Fucking hell this is getting weird now. There's always at least one of these posts in these threads. Olbermann isn't lying. He isn't trying to sell you anything (well, other than getting GQ some subs). He isn't repeating stupid conspiracy theories. He is using things said and done by the man he is criticising. He's just very dramatic about it. I would be too tbh, Trump is likely one of the most dangerous presidents, and dangerous precedents the USA has seen for a good while now. Given who he is, how he behaves and the people he's picked to support him.
