Just needed a bush did 9/11 at the end or an actual bush flying into the mattress towers to make it tongue in cheek.
Fuck having a high moral ground, I'm getting a king mattress for the price of a fucking twin.
I'm slightly puzzled. Why would you think this was a good idea?
I'm slightly puzzled. Why would you think this was a good idea?
Rampant commercialization and wanting to cash in on the bandwagon
sounds like a good fucking deal
Sorry but king sized/queen sized for the price of a twin? That's a fucking bargain.
I'd buy that for a dollar.
OP's name is relevant.
lol even in an apology she acts like a selfish cunt "we're sorry please buy our mattresses"

Damn, is it too late to buy a mattress?
After that their business went down like the twin towers.
honestly when i first saw this thread i just assumed it was a terrible joke, holy shit how wrong i was
You know the old formula: Comedy=Tragedy+Time
That escalated quickly
Is 15 years still considered too early to make a joke, or something? There are students who are going to be learning about it as part of a history lesson in school pretty soon. Getting outraged by a 9/11 joke is like getting annoyed about a spoiler in a book that's been out for 10 years.

It was a terrible idea but it still sucks when a small business has to close down.
"cherise bonanno, owner" "mike bonanno, owner" hmm, looks like you let your wife make an ad and forgot to proof it

Capitalism and dark humour does not mix.
After that their business went down like the twin towers.
Well when you sell kings for the price of twins, how can you afford to stay in business I mean, it's a bit tasteless and offensive but at no point does my brain go FUCK THIS IS AN OUTRAGE
I thought this was a purposeful business move to gain more publicity. Usually when small business want to get attention, they do something controversial. Maybe it is because I have seen a lot of images of people jumping from the towers, and its one of those things that won't ever escape your mind.
September 11 is probably the most exiting day in america, you can get all these mattresses n shit.
Idk if im just paranoid but i belive they just wanted peoples attention, boost their sales a little by going full offensive
It was a terrible idea but it still sucks when a small business has to close down.
i doubt they're closing down permanently, just waiting for the controversy to blow over
Whoah, a King mattress for the price of a twin? That's more than double the sleeping area for the same price. I wonder why they're pricing so low.

This is why you hire someone to help you with marketing.
So who took them up on the deal?
