Got a playthrough of, "To The Moon" here. The plot involves the moon. MOOOOOON. If the answer to the previous question is yes, should I also add links or vids for some or all old playthroughs? For convenience sake, since the thread would be otherwise be quite spartan for a while. Lemme know.

Oh god this game. I just finished it myself and it's an incredible game. I highly recommend it to you all. One of the best stories I've ever heard. For real. I'm no crier but damn this game made me ball my eyes out.

Seeing Johnny over River's grave again after already completing the game was really moving for me. Also the rabbits, knowing the meaning behind them. As I said in a youtube comment, this game actually changed my life in a small but significant way, so I have huge respect for Hamst3r for playing this.

I'm rather liking the story of this game, and your humour in the LP is a nice touch. Hell, I like your LPs in general.

It did a pretty good job of revealing a new thing each memory jump, which better explained the thing revealed in the previous memory.

What are you gonna do about that megathread idea? I think it'd be pretty cool. I mean, you could put your sweet musics there too. And if it happens to go quiet, it'll always get active again when you get new stuff in and people will notice the other content too.

Like...one series per post? all of the old series in one post? as individual videos? as playlists of videos? as links? That kind of stuff. I think I'd like to have it be one series per post as individual videos, but I think there's a cap on the number of consecutive posts I can do, so I'd need to get some comments in between or have other people alternating video posts with me. Perhaps that's too much work, so maybe just a list of links to playlists would be better...but would people even bother clicking those? Any thoughts on this sorta stuff would be awesome, since I want to do it right from the outset. :D

What I'd do is have a nice banner image on top as a title. Nothing too huge but there to make it clear that this thread is special and awesome. I'd have links to the individual videos of playthroughs. That way if someone opened a playthrough from the megathread and watched until part 3, they can come back to it and just open part 3 from there. Also, when you add new parts to a playthrough, they'll show up as a difference in the post. As opposed to if you link to a playlist, you'd just have a link to the playlist which gets more parts. Some small descriptions of games could be nice too. "Hamster plays Amnesia, a freaky horror game with loss of sanity and no means to defend yourself. Watch it here: *insert links to videos*" If you got the time, you could even make small pics for each game. A nice background and text (related to banner) would work nicely. Or maybe a thumb from one of the videos. So now, when you'd add a new video, you'd make a post in the megathread and thus bump it up. The post would have the media link as usually but also add the link to the megathread part. This way people will keep posted on vids if they follow the thread and only want new stuff. People who want old stuff will find it on the opening post all laid nice and easy to find. Also having the newest stuff on top would keep it easy to navigate. Maybe separately for music and playthroughs. Not saying this from any experience of making megathreads, it's just what I'd do.

I would add to that, in the OP, I think media tagging the first video of each 'series', and posting links to the rest would work out great. A sort of best of both worlds, not spamming the OP with too many media tagged videos, yet also being able to see a video preview of each game/series in case the name isn't recognizable alone.
