My friend and I are making sketch show series, comprising several episodes, each several minutes long, that will be released once a month. We want this to be as big and well known as possible as we both want to try and break into the film and media industry. We know alot of people may not find it funny, comedy is a matter of personal taste but we're trying to get a little something for everybody so PLEASE just give it a look at, then rate & comment what you think If you do enjoy it though, expect the 2nd episode at the end of March, and the 2nd will be alot better than the first because it will not just be us two in it this time, we have got a dozen or more people that fancy being involved UPDATE March 29th Epidsode 2 is finished and up for anyone interested
that was really funny i like the second one

Does it still add to youtubes viewcount when viewed through media tags?
i just have an error
I liked it The intro / outro song is terrible though.
Youtube has been giving me errors.
I liked it The intro / outro song is terrible though.
It's not the best I know, originally the intro was going to be Dire Straits - Money for Nothing but as soon as it went on youtube it muted the audio so we had to make our own and neither of us are exactly muscians so it was just a quick throw together. Plus by using audio that we have made there is no copyrightable material at all so if it gets enough views we can sign it up for the GoogleAd scheme and hopefully earn some money off it

Perhaps we could redo the intro and make it better for episode 2, since this was a last minute patch-up in order to get it online
I agree that the intro is a bit cringe worthy, not trying to offend you though I thought the show was funny. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2KK5UOD4 I just quickly recorded a song like the one you have let me know if you like it.

Are you guys dutch? Because i saw the beer glass with "Hoegaarden" on it.
that was funny, but the key to having a pro looking show even on youtube is to use mic's, you can pick up a cheap radio mic for less than £10 these days, it adds 50% production value straight away. any outdoor scenes use an upper vingnette, it simulates pro cameras. and no matter how dumb it looks in production use as many lights as you can, also you can cheaply cover them in greaseproof paper to add a decent and cost effective diffuse effect on the light. all these tiny things are cheap but all add to production value.
Oh ok, thought hoegaarden was only dutch, it's a dutch word though.
Aparently not, and im pretty sure my local pub is not Dutch themed, i'll have to check next time i'm in there haha
Episode 2 is up for anyone who is interested
I like the show actually, but I have to agree you need a new intro/outro song
Didn't like it at all. Not my thing I guess.
Didn't like it at all. Not my thing I guess.
Yeah its impossible to do comedy that everybody likes, but rather than focus on one type we thought we'd do a varity of stuff. As for the intro song, Im going to try redoing it ready for the next episode, whihc by the way will even include some green screen sketchs :D
"That couldn't be gayer." "Yeah it could... Hey big boy..." Made me laugh so hard.
It's alright and had some funny parts but The Whitest Kids U' Know is probably the only sketch comedy show I REALLY liked.
"That couldn't be gayer." "Yeah it could... Hey big boy..." Made me laugh so hard.
Yeah, it came so natural that Im thinking there's something he's not telling haha
