Nothing says WW1 retrospective like the first thing you hear being WUB WUB WUB blasted into your ears.
I'm so glad dubstep died
Nothing says 'history' like some good old dubstep.
Cause dubstep ain't been cool since like 2013 ooooOOh
The music ruins the entire video lmao.

What? dubstep's not dead, far from it honestly. Pretty much every nightclub or big event here has Dubstep DJ's as head/sideliners.
calling skrillex dubstep is a sin on its own, but bangarang is fuckin electro house
it's sad really, because without the garbage music, this would have been a really enjoyable clip and I'd happily watch more.
whoever thought bangarang goes hand in hand with a ww1 documentary are off their fuckin gourd.

Have to be in with the kids!!

People who were kids when skrillex was trending are probably adults now
It seems as usual for BBC stuff to have really lame music and editing choice, is their music license really that limited?

idk what nightclubs youre going to but every one I've been to in the last 3 years or so has played nothing but hip hop
Honestly I’m glad that there are shows/docimentaries that are shying away from the stereotypical “It’s a Long Way to Tippererary” or generic sad music in regards to WWI. Dunno if this was the right choice for this video in particular, but it helps us move away from the whole “the war was pointless and everyone hated it” narrative.

I was instantly repulsed by the wubwub, but then I saw all the little hilarious stop-motion food things and that was kinda adorable so it made up for it in the end :cat:
Still not a fan of it just for the unexpected wubwub though.

yeah but the people who LIKED skrillex are still kids
This just seems downright disrespectful

US vs Aus. It's very rare here to see hip hop at clubs.

Probably because you're in the US.
In the UK dubstep is alive and well albeit back underground, just not the EDMstep stuff like Skrillex and whatever it is UKF put out. That never really took off and stuck around in clubs.
