It's verrry shaky, note that you're trying to film high speed subjects with a less than commercial quality camera. It's going to be a challenge, technically.

And on that note, you need to set the camera to wumbo.

1) Get a tripod
2) Shoot more low side angles catching jumps
3) Try some wide side angles too and zoom in if possible

3) Get a wide screen angle and don't zoom in if possible.

Would be alot cooler just to film someone going down one of those hills first-personish

This is exactly what I was going to post. If you have a good camera, a wide angle lens could help you lots.

If you're going to be filming first person, Set up a rig inside a cardboard box, with your camera in the middle, and rubber bands holding it in place from all sides, it will make the shot a LOT smoother.
