I am unbelievably hype for this. Plus look at these updated models for the Persona 3 gang. Holy shit.
P4DAN held my attention long enough that I went for the platinum trophy so if I get a PS4, I'm probably gonna get this as well.
Cool now can you actually release Persona 3/4 on something other than Vita
Cool now can you actually release Persona 3/4 on something other than Vita
I played through all of P3 on an emulator and it worked well. No stutters, graphics were spruced up a little for HD. However I'd love to see Persona 3 on the same engine as 5.

Really crisp and sharp.

Would not object to having these models ported over to something like Source Film maker.
Would not object to having these models ported over to something like Source Film maker.
Those shaders will either let them fit in really well, or look really out of place. Here's to hoping it's the former.
Would not object to having these models ported over to something like Source Film maker.
More than anything, those dance animations would be the best to get a hold of.

Just port it to a new console and let me buy a version that works.
Those models really make me wish this was a remake of Persona 3 and not just a dancing game. Could be worse though. *cough* MGS3 pachinko *cough*

But then it'd probably take a hell of a lot of effort to have something on-par with Persona 5, which took them so long as it was.

It's how they did P3 with SMTIII assets
I wonder what the guy who wrote the original Megami Tensei books thinks about these.
I mean, the series never strayed far from the "high school occult horror shit goes absolutely wrong", besides with certain games like Strange Journey, but then i'd rather take anime dancing that's tongue-in-cheek than gratuitous rape and gore ala the original OVA and books.
I wonder what the guy who wrote the original Megami Tensei books thinks about these.
If I remember right he actually likes SMT series
Of all the ones, 3 desperately needs a remaster. There is no definitive version that doesn't have all of the content, nor the fixes that the game needs.
Speaking of Persona 3, whatever happened to [sp]Elizabeth? I remember the last we saw of her was in P4 Arena, where she was still finding a way of resurrecting P3's protag or something like that. Did that ever get some closure?[/sp]
Of all the ones, 3 desperately needs a remaster. There is no definitive version that doesn't have all of the content, nor the fixes that the game needs.
Only if they [sp]retcon Kenji and replace his social link with an actual good charcter. AKA Da Man, Junpei[/sp]
Cool now can you actually release Persona 3/4 on something other than Vita
I really want them to release these games on the PS4 store. Afaik they were on the PS3 store
ENDGAMESPOILER [sp]It pains me that the trailer ends with MC dancing on the roof[/sp]
I really want them to release these games on the PS4 store. Afaik they were on the PS3 store
FES and 4 (Not golden) are on the PS3 store
Only if they [sp]retcon Kenji and replace his social link with an actual good charcter. AKA Da Man, Junpei[/sp]
Junpei's s.link is The Fool. Same for everyone else in SEES haha
FES and 4 (Not golden) are on the PS3 store
This is a problem right now. To play the previous main two Personas you either get a PS2 and a copy of 3 FES and base 4, get a PS3 and get FES and 4 digitally, or get the PSTV/Vita and get 3 Portable digitally and a copy of 4 Golden. It's kind of a mess that two of the biggest commercially successful JRPGs that's had everyone's eyes for so long for over the past decade aren't in the easiest spot to get. And as mentioned above, 3 has FES which is the definitive version, but Portable adds the female protag at the cost of the PSP's limitations forcing town/casual segments to be cursor and menu based and all the anime cutscenes mid-game to be turned into in-engine scenes, not to mention it lacks The Answer epilogue that FES has. It's kind of a grabbag of a mess, with no SMT or Persona games at all on the PS4 classics list yet. And this doesn't even get into the first two Persona games either between PS1 and PSP versions, combined with Persona 2's inconsistent western releases.
Those models really make me wish this was a remake of Persona 3 and not just a dancing game.
If anyone cares this game is also coming to Vita too
I'm hoping the PS4 version comes with a Vita code or vice versa
