I did a short creative writing thing for school that was somewhat inspired by his social isolation essay and it's very weirdly similar to this story, especially the whole thing with the cigarettes and the narrator being a young kid listening to an crude old dude who fucked up his life. Sex ed here is almost non existant, high school dropouts due to teen pregnancy are somewhat common in most schools at couple girls a year.

We sharing stories? Didn't wear a condom, got a girl pregnant but we didn't find out until three months in after she got drunk and fell down the stairs and miscarried twins. They'd be around five or six by now. I was 16.
Mr. Regular is seriously the one good argument to getting an English degree, there's something about the way he talks that's just relaxing to listen to, while still engaging.
