Given that the Lizard actually looks like the fucking Lizard and another plot point that got leaked which makes it sound like they're actually doing a comic book movie not something tailored for the same old audience, I have faith.

Very true. Have you seen that video of the guy who analyzed the car chase in The Dark Knight? There were plenty of very obvious continuity flaws that I never noticed
