I think it's pretty curious.
I'd love for Sobotonik to come in here and tell everyone that there's nothing wrong
I keep saying this a lot and its getting harder for people to say no: Revolt.
I expected The Phantom Pain :v:
Well this sounds bad. I don't know what we're expected to do however.
english please
There's no way this thing is gonna be real, right?

Unless big names decide to toss out the offending articles, it will.

It's very likely too late to actually stop it.
Do we know enough about the TPP to make these judgments? As far as I know 99% of it is still under wraps - or have all the documents been released now?
Welp, this sucks. 10 outta 10 capitalism, you're definitely not broken in your core concepts.

Was leaked by wikileaks last I checked.

I'm pretty sure Wikileaks published all of the copyright section.
This whole trade deal reeks of corporations trying to squeeze money out of consumers and tightening their grips on the market(s) as a whole. Especially the Civil & Criminal Punishments section. Your hardware being destroyed just for downloading a game? That's not only excessive but I would that that's illegal to destroy someone's property as a punishment as it falls under unusual punishments imo.
So wait a second, if I live in a country thats not a part of TPP, can I still get sued for modding a game if the company is located in america for instance?
Bernie Sanders, you better fucking get elected and throw this shit out.
How? lol
Watching videos like this, reading articles with the same message as this video and voting for the right guy/women are probably the right direction. You're right we can't do much but still the general populations apathy in most situations like this is completely disgusting.

Relevant he simplifies it...

Isn't Trump against it too?
Isn't Trump against it too?
Yeah, but bernie is better.
TPP is fucking horrible for a lot of reasons and video games are probably one of its least worst sections. The section on pharmaceuticals is fucking disgusting

It's the IP and Copyright laws that are worrying, they apply to damn near everything.
I posted this because people take their hobby seriously, I wish people would get more enraged about it on the pharma front or oil front, but maybe this will cause some outrage?

honestly sounds like a big overreaction and nothing anyone claims will happen will actually happen

which is what it'll end up like
I think one of the worst parts about this is that this thing is hardly getting any attention compared to SOPA and the likes, and it probably won't get much more attention until the treaty is taken into effect. Not even the guys on Facepunch seem to be talking about it much.
Considering how big this is and how it could terribly affect us, this thread should at the very least be on page 2 by now.
I bet you this does nothing for smaller developers. Good to know only big business is getting anything out of this.

honestly the full text isn't out, and theres nothing to do right now but protest and wait for congress to not pass it because my god, they cannot agree on anything today, this has both parties split

Hell some Republicans are against this because IT DOESN'T DO ENOUGH! (specifically it was leaked by them that Big Tobbaco is barred from the ISDS, wonder what other companies are barred; another thing is the rural republicans are afraid of undercutting their own industry).
I keep saying this a lot and its getting harder for people to say no: Revolt.
Sure, lemme just grab my pistol and shoot whoever represents TPP, that's sensable and no way chaotic.
[editline]18th October 2015[/editline]
Also how do we stop this? I'm on board against it, but if we can't do anything about it aside from shout really loud until the old men just shut their windows and close the blinds, then what else is there?
