The show with english subtitle : I'm sorry, there is no english articles, I can translate one french article in english but it's pretty useless, the video show everything. Antoine de Caunes said he was sorry on Twitter and that he will made a tuning monday.
why is this news Wait was this posted in SH first or did I just get confused? Sorry about that, carry on.
Video has a few english subtitles
Also, no media talked about it so I couldn't put it in the first post, but Antoine de Caunes before this show have been in a video on youtube where he play a video game with the most popular french gaming channel... Do I need to add more ? And it is in news because medias talked about it and it could interest you that you are "someone who have nothing to do in they're life" because you watch twitch...
Old people who doesnt like video games arent really news.
Well sorry if I made a mistake by posting here, it's just the way they insult some people when the money they're making is with football match (so basically, seeing someone playing) i found it disgusting. EDIT : The missing subtitles is only when she talked about what she will talk later, but after that they're here.
I didn't even know Pewdiepie had a twitch account. wait Canal+ why does that sound familiar http://www.canalplus.fr/c-infos-documentaires/c-ms-l-oeil-de-links/cid798995-skate-3-funny-stuff.html oh fuck
Yeah, Canal + is pretty shitty when it comes to videogames XD .
Yeah, Canal + is pretty shitty when it comes to videogames XD .
I wasn't saying anything like that. They asked for permission from me before using those videos. I thought it was cool.

She is kind of right though. Watching Youtube videos is one thing, but watching a twitch stream takes a RIDICULOUS amount of free time, which most people that would be described as "having a life" don't have.

EDIT : God bless my parents who teach me to love books, will never thanks them enough.
almost like watching a movie or TV.
I guess if you just watch for portions of it, but most twitch streams are HOURS long. I guess I shouldn't be the one to make a judgement, I wouldn't describe myself as "having a life" yet. I see the whole "get a life" thing as half-jealousy on the part of people that don't have a lot of free time.

I never would have thought you'd be against twitch considering all the time you've put into Skate and other games.

Watching Youtube videos is one thing, but watching a twitch stream takes a RIDICULOUS amount of free time, which most people that would be described as "having a life" don't have.
Blanket stating that someone doesn't have a life simply because that person chooses to watch somebody playing a game rather than watching TV or movies is a pretty ignorant thing to say. I could say the same thing about people who watch shows that report on models and celebrities, which this show seems to be about. We'd all be better off if we didn't insult people based on their choice of entertainment.

I see the whole "get a life" thing as half-jealousy on the part of people that don't have a lot of free time.
I think the problem is saying to some people "You have a life" and to others "You don't have one". If someones plays 4 hours a day video games, but in the same time, he is married, got a job, have a good culture, I don't think we can tell him he is a nolife because he plays a lot. And why people who, for exemples, are all days studying alone in theyre chambers mathematics to create new theorems, why we don't say to them they're no life ? (No offense, I respect this people, I talk from society point of view, not mine) But that's what did this show, they took ALL twitch users, and, they say "They have nothing to do in they're life ?", basically they judge 5 millions people because they just watch times from times a live stream.
Wow, I did not mean to sound insulting but I guess I fucked up on that one. The way I've always seen it is that there are people who have to find free time to do the things they want to do, and there's people that have to find things to do in order to fill all the free time they have. I don't see "not having a life" as an insult, I feel like it's a circumstantial thing. I'm the type of person that has to find things to do in order to fill my free time, which is probably a result of not having a job and not taking very many classes in college. I should probably be taking more classes but I budget time really badly and I get stressed out way too easily and those are things I have to work on. I feel like the type of people who watch twitch streams are the kind who find things to fill their free time, because of how long and slow twitch streams are. That's all I'm saying. I accept that I might be wrong about that.
Only reason I'd watch a livestream is if the game hasn't come out yet, I'm interested in the game and there isn't a WTF is about it already. I'll never understand how people can sit down and watch "personalities" just play a game and talk about inane shit all day.
No problem, you'r a human (I guess), this kind of stuff happen.

How did you think it meant anything different?

But don't do silly things others do don't make us superior. For exemple, I don't laugh with PewDiePie, I think he is just a guy screaming a lot. But does this make me a better guy than his 30 million suscribers ? Of course.
Damn, why is it such a big deal.
Watching games on Twitch is still better than watching people on TV talk about people watching games on Twitch.
I don't just watch people on twitch cause I like the video game, I watch it cause the person or people playing the games are good entertainers, I'd rather watch someone play video games than watch people talk about celebrities or someshit
It's not surprising that that people think watching others play games is a waste of time when you consider that PDP is the most popular streamer out there. It seems even more retarded if you try to read Twitch chat for more then 5 seconds.
Honestly, I didn't find that insulting at all. Maybe because I watched it in French, I don't know. She's not saying being on Twitch is retarded, she says it's incredible. Because most people in France don't know what Twitch is and that people watch other people play video games. What's the problem?
I like how they're sitting so far up that horse, judging what people find entertaining when there's a crowd of people sitting in a circle around them.. ..Just staring at the back of their heads and listening to their voice.
Video has a few english subtitles
Watching a someone play a video game is unbelievable but all the retards sitting at home watching them be ignorant surely is more classy.
