This game continually manages to impress me with it's gameplay and atmosphere. I'm definitely getting on release day.
Oh those animations. I love Naughty Dog games, even back in the PS2 era when they made Jak & Daxter those games had such fluid and smooth animations, gorgeous graphics, and fun as hell gameplay.
I wish they would make a PC game ;_;
I wish this game was not PS3 exclusive. Think I am going to borrow my friends PS3
Wait, I always thought this would've been on PC too.
Oh, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I don't own any console, either.
God damn it, this saddened my day greatly. I really wanted to try this out. I'm throwing rainbows in hope that one day a PC port will appear.
That's alotta QTEs

Seeing how Naughty Dog is owned by Sony, the chances of that are extremely slight to none. Getting a PS3 is still worth it though, you can get them for really cheap now and there are many great exclusives that are still worth playing and are cheap now also.
I really feel sorry for PS fanboy that this game has terrible graphics also CoD is superior than this failed clone, walking around the map an hour for killing 1 zombie. I see that Naughty Dog has fallen into a pit of despair also I hope* they will realize that nobody want to play their horrible games.
I assume he's trolling but it's hard to tell these days when some kids really sound like this.

Hell, the original Crash Bandicoot games on the PS1 were pretty good in animation, especially when the second game and on started having mid-game cutscenes. It's telling when a third-party title looked so sharp and smooth, yet something like Sonic Adventure was utterly terrible in animations and presentation a year or two later on stronger hardware altogether, first-party even..
Naughty Dog knows quality.
I can't say I'm not a little let down with the RPG aspects (infinite bag, skill upgrading, some kind of xp, the crafting is okay) but it still looks great. The person playing seems a little lost though, maybe it was a press representative and not a dev.
I really don't like that little awkward jog joel does. it looks really sluggish imo.

Considering where they are using them, it's not exactly bad. ND games as of late have been quite QTE heavy. It didn't really detract from the gameplay enough to aggravate me slightly. The shooting and hand to hand combat itself is still quite flexible if it's like Uncharted 3, as long as you aren't in a grapple.
Holy shit dat quality on everything.
It looks awesome.
I haven't bought a PS3 game since LA Noire. Finally a reason to shove a disk in that old Netflix machine.

The power of CallofDuty is* with you at all times; through the activities of mind, senses, breathing, and emotions , you can't hide your feeling forever about how much you love Call of Duty then face and accept the truth.
I ain't a troll just videogame experts also I do not support vulgar language on the Internet so stop swearing that show how immature you are.

Also is it just me or does Ellie look like she's 10-12 yrs old?

Her character is 14 years old, so that isn't far off the mark.

If anything, the QTE's add a great deal to the game. I mean, sometimes I wish I could have a little bit more control over my character, but the QTE's make the game feel like an Indiana Jones movie, which is extremely cool. I would imagine that this will be the case with this game, minus the whole indiana jones thing.
i think they should of released the e3 demo
this segment doesn't show the game off too well from a gameplay standpoint
judging from this gameplay, this game looks incredibly difficult. I have a feeling I am going to rage hard.

QTEs suck, especially this kind of QTE you're going to do 500 times during your play through and see the same fucking animations with the same fucking camera angle
Even Indie's novelty wears off pretty quick

You kind of just have to revise your tactics. This game heavily emphasizes stealth, so shooting should be an absolute last resort. It took me about 5 brutal deaths to figure out how to do that last encounter without being seen.
I like the QTE's. They're not a main part of the gameplay and they add a level of cinematic diversity that isn't practical without them.
That looks like a polished demo (for the masses), not the real deal.
You can see some "improvements", but in some places, textures are lacklusters.
Even so, this game is story driven, so graphics can't be ignored in some manner, as long as the sounds and voice acting is on the spot.
Too bad it's console exclusive, damn... imagine that on PC!
Fuck, this does look pretty good. The whole fungus thing is far scarier than just "a bacteria made them zombies" Seeing as this sort of thing DOES exist with ants.
The clickers are fucking terrifying.
that little see through wall abilities seems really outta place

It can be disabled thankfully.

I didn't even know the cause for the zombies in this game was a fungus.
looks pretty mediocre tbh
Oh my god their voices actually fade and echo in empty buildings that's amazing.
