touching
This is change in process. We are seeing it. Because of our modern technology, we can be exposed to the realities like this like few before us ever could have. This is giving me fucking chills. I felt the same way when I watched the Iranian Green revolution back when Ahmedinejad rigged the last election of his. Ain't this just fuckin' beautiful? Mubarak tried to turn off the Internet. Look where that got him eh!?
vids old
Wow. I got chills. [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] "We will not be silenced, whether you're a Christian, whether you're a Muslim, whether you're an atheist, you will demand your goddamn rights, and we will have our rights, one way or the other! We will never be silenced!" mega chills
Brought tears to my eyes. And "We will not be silenced, whether you're a Christian, whether you're a Muslim, whether you're an atheist, you will demand your goddamn rights, and we will have our rights, one way or the other! We will never be silenced!" Was absolutely beautiful. Fight on brother!
And now they are fighting each other, pro gov vs anti gov.
Thing is, pro-gov is basically just what, 200 people? No contest, bro. And the Army has outright refused to fire on the protesters, so I think they're kinda set. Could've turned out a LOT worse is for sure. You see that guy standing alone in front of the truck? It might not have stopped. You could have had another Tienanmen square.
I wish Iran would've gotten to this stage. But, we are too lazy for that kind of dedication. Oh well.
And now they are fighting each other, pro gov vs anti gov.
The pro gov people are supposedly the secret service disguised as locals. Or so it has been told on some of the news sites that I have been reading.

Would be pretty nasty to live in Egypt now considering they closed all banks to save the economy. Nobody can withdraw money to buy food. Easy to see where the violence comes from.
So, have the army decided to support the anti-gov?
Wonder who the next Pharaoh will be?
I already bought my tickets and stuff to go to Egypt during spring break. :(
The operators in the T-72's during the Tienanmen Square incident didn't want to roll the guy over.
and they didn't they stopped and he jumped up and had a small conversation with the tank commander
Doesn't half of the protesters want a theocratic government? I hope the ones who wish for democracy get their wishes fulfilled...
That was an amazing video. I hope all goes well in Egypt. [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] "We will not be silenced, whether you're a Christian, whether you're a Muslim, whether you're an atheist, you will demand your goddamn rights, and we will have our rights, one way or the other! We will never be silenced!" That's the greatest thing I've heard in a long time. I really hope the protestors prevail.
And now they are fighting each other, pro gov vs anti gov.
Thanks, Captain Obvious. Any other brilliant insights you'd care to share?
Thanks, Captain Obvious. Any other brilliant insights you'd care to share?
There are a lot of riot guards, and a lot of people throwing rocks.

Easy to see where the violence comes from.
On point. Not only that, but the food prices are rising. This is due to US Federal Reserve activities which export inflation around the world, and since 2008 it's been ramping up the outflow. As prices rise elsewhere, turmoil and civil unrest foments. The thing is, the chickens will eventually come home to roost. Kind of like throwing a rock into a pond: the waves will disperse from the disruption at first, then converge back on the originating point. The western world may have effectively caused the death of half the world's population...
Doesn't half of the protesters want a theocratic government? With a fundamentalist regime, Israel will be surrounded by hostility. That region might be the spark to cause the next world war.
I feel like the quality has gone down, but still beautiful video.
Really moving video
Does my heart good to know that people are still willing to fight for their rights.
I somewhat want to be in this, for the thrill and the cause itself. Fuk da police, throw rocks at em
It made me cry, and I don't cry. :ohdear:
Wow. That was...great! Good to know people are still willing to fight for something.
Just something about watching all these stupid videos about it, can't take it seriously, just seems like they are making it seem much more dramatic than it really is.
