I always see this discussion pop up here in FP.

I personally think the term "gamer" has lost all meaning and as the video said, fosters a more exclusive instead of an inclusive connotation, which I don't think games shouldn't really be about.
At this point, it's just a word to slap on dew'n'ritos to sell to halo fans.
So much empty talk about nothing really.
Is it me or does the guy in the video's "glasses" not even have glass in them, he's just wearing an empty plastic frame on his face
I don't like his fake glasses.

Yeah, they are empty frames.
God I hate the term "gamer"

There, I saved us all 10 minutes each.
Gamer is a pretty useless term.
You're technically a gamer if you play iphone games or if you're a serious PC gaming enthusiast. It describes almost everyone with a smart phone and a laptop. So it doesn't have much, if any meaning.
A real gamer is someone who beats Dark Souls NG+7 at SL1 with no pyromancy while perma gravelorded and blindfolded.
when I think gamer, I think lan centers, Counter Strike 1.6, Pure Pwnage, Halo 2, and Vanilla WoW
Also fighting game tournaments, also guitar hero 2
also staying the fuck up at your friend's houses playing games and not giving a shit about achievements

What the hell is a small-screen video and why would a gamer suffer from that?
I consider a gamer as someone who's primary hobby is playing video games, it's really not that hard

He's said in a video he uses lens-less fames so lights don't reflect on them.
He normally wears glasses so it just feel odd for him to not wear frames.
Also, I like Game/Show on this channel, but oh my god, he speaks for 20 minutes and says absolutely nothing. I feel like it was literally a waste. I don't even remember what he said.
Two BIG games, you know... Halo and COD? No, it doesn't end there. There are communities for Zelda, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Gran turismo, The last of us, Final fantasy and a fuck ton of other games.
"Gamers" is sort of a cheap and tacky term. I thought a game-er plays lots of games and is not bias to just one. I'm seeing more of that lately then like... Ever. I wonder why.
