was expecting portal 2 :(
It'll probably be next week, he has to write and then animate each episode as well as play the game which takes about 3 weeks.

Thank you Yahtzee, you summed what I felt about the 3DS. :v:
Well yeah, if you look at the screen at the wrong angle the 3d is lost, but when my friend brought hers over it seemed like the sweetspot was a decent size. Also, using the AR stuff on the floor can be awkward, but I would think it would be better on a table.

I still keep the "Stranger" -series as the best point & click games ever.
Isn't the sky supposed to be behind the sea?
This has to win best review.
I've had the thing for about a month now and haven't had any issues with the 3D. It only fucks up if you turn it more than around 45 degrees in either direction or play at arm's length/with your nose pressed against the screen. The only reason why I've ever turned the 3D off is if I'm either a) on a bumpy car ride or b) doing something that I want someone else to see without them having to press their face against mine to get in the sweet spot or putting their grubby hands on my 3DS. Yahtzee's acting like the 3D doesn't work well but I just think he's doing something wrong.

He plays a game for one week whilst making the episode of the game he played last week. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to do a weekly episode now could he?
I love this guy. Can't wait to hear his critique on Portal 2, considering he has yet to lay any real "hate" on any Valve game, especially considering he loved the dark humor and game mechanics in the first Portal. Or to quote him:
I can't think of any criticism for it. I'm serious, this is the most fun you'll have with your PC until they invent a force-feedback codpiece. I went in expecting a slew of interesting portal-based puzzles and that's exactly what I got. What I wasn't expecting was some of the funniest pitch black humor I've ever heard in a game. OK, it's only two to three hours long, but that's a good length for it, it means that it doesn't outstay it's welcome, and it narrows the gap between you and the balls-tightening fantastic ending. Absolutely sublime from start to finish and I will jam forks into my eyes if I ever use those words to describe anything else ever again. Yeah, I know it's not very funny if I love a game, but fuck you. Portal's great and if you don't think so you must be stupid.
(User was permabanned for this post ("Profile Harrasment - Alt of permabanned user" - Craptasket))

I tried the one at my local Best Buy and it took me about 5 minutes to get it working in Pilotwings Once I did get the effect to work the "sweetspot" was pretty big It's more of just learning how to process it as one 3D picture I guess
