Wait WHAT? Is that Logan at around 0:50? I'm seriously hyped for this season, I was kinda worried on how they would followup the amazing first season. (except combat scenes, they kinda sucked)
So is this supposed to kind of follow the concept of Futureworld (which is the sequel to the original Westworld), or is it kind of independent from here on out? [editline]5th February 2018[/editline] Either way, I am so fucking hyped.
During season 1 it became obvious that just like the original film westworld wasn't the only park. Samurai World's factory was seen briefly [editline]5th February 2018[/editline] The shows already disconnected from the movie pretty largely so I'd say it's already pretty independent
I can't even describe how excited I am for the show to return.
I don't understand what's going on, the show ended perfectly at season 1. Why drag it out when the message it wanted to convey was clearly stated and perfectly executed?

There couldn't possibly be more fallout from the events of the first season.
Maybe Facepunch Forums user minilandstan is actually a synth and thinks the ending of season 1 is A Good Thing?
The ending didn't look like anything to me.
My favorite description of this show to this day is still "What if a real life NPC started glitching out"
They better explain the shrink rays this time.

I just have a bad feeling that at the end of season 2, everyone's going to complain that the second season shouldn't have happened. It's not like shows have ever dragged its own premise too far before, it happens all the time.

An uprising has just begun that could easily be killed in the cradle or lead to an entirely new society drastically different than anything we've ever seen before. They've only scratched the surface of exploring some of the central themes of the show. We don't have a real answer for the massive question of "are all these robots really people?". Ending the show here would be a massive disservice to the story they're trying to tell.
I swear to God if this is going to end with them just killing indiscriminately I'm going to eat a pillow.
I swear to God if this is going to end with them just killing indiscriminately I'm going to eat a pillow.
Halfway through season 2 it just cuts straight to Terminator 2.
Halfway through season 2 it just cuts straight to Terminator 2.
At least we can win, and get some nice late 80s synthesizers.

https://www.cinemablend.com/television/1562520/how-many-seasons-hbos-westworld-already-has-planned
It wasn't about getting the first 10 [episodes] done, it was about mapping out what the next 5 or 6 years are going to be. We wanted everything in line so that when the very last episode airs and we have our show finale, five or seven years down the line, we knew how it was going to end the first season -- that's the way Jonah and J.J. Abrams operate. They're making sure all the ducks are in the row.
