I often find myself almost hating this movie, but then I remember that The Day After Tomorrow and War of the Worlds exit...
And at least this one is over the top in something more than [b]just[/b] stupidity. It's pretty.
There are some amazing scenes of destruction but I can't stand how stupid this movie is. Impossible close calls, improbable coincedences and ham-fisted messages and symbolisms.
VFX was really well done, everything else not.
The end is near.

I thought the "let's add fifty sins for this escape scene" or "The Room" getting [b][i]Over 1 million sins[/b][/i] would have given that away.

I would have thought even if you didn't know that "discount LA Governor Schwarzenegger" would make everything clear - it's a role typecast for a certain actor but they got some stand in to do instead - a 'discount' actor for the role

Discount implies that a lookalike actor is there because he looks way too similar with the real actor. Or at least that's what the moviesins guy thinks I was addicted to his videos for a while but it got kinda boring and he's very nitpicky sometimes.

In the "Everything Wrong with CinemaSins" video they state they're not reviewers, they're assholes. Think Statler and Waldorf, the old guys from the Muppets. They nit pick stuff out most of us wouldn't have seen the first time or cliches/tropes that movies just end up repeating.
though most of the stuff they nit-pick is stupid shit like "we're at 1400000000 feet and climbing!"

yeh although there's a lot in this video that's funny, in all the "everything wrong with" clips there's so much where the answer to their complaint is "because it's a movie"
