what a fucking retarded way to propose
She should have said no.
She should have said no.
Though if you think about it this is some manipulative bullshit. She was worried for his life and was already afraid of losing him, so this way she was more inclined to say yes. This isn't a real proposal, this is downright coercion.

what a GREAT way to start a healthy marriage /s
Should have had the doctors do pretend surgery and pull a bloody ring out of him.
He should have proposed while still lying on the bed. To see if she would stick with him through whatever.
Should have waited for the open-casket funeral to jump out and pop the question, that would have really won her over.
man, i really hate these stupid stunts for asking people to do anything for them. had a friend who actually had her facebook hacked into and had all her pictures changed to some dude asking her to prom and she felt compelled to say yes because of how fucking creepy that shit was. [editline]22nd May 2015[/editline] this is downright manipulation
I feel so badwhenever I see a public proposal, esp on stadiums and stuff. it's like pressuring your girl to say yes
I feel so badwhenever I see a public proposal, esp on stadiums and stuff. it's like pressuring your girl to say yes
I always pay attention to proposals just in the hopes of catching a hilariously awkward "umm". never happens tho

That stretcher lowering sound is extremely metal
All according to plan
It's about the implication
i wonder if she'll divorce him in the same way
i had this same idea when i was 7 and my mom got mad at me when i told her about it
No different than all those proposals at sporting events in front of cameras and thousands of people.
Yeah and those types of proposals are utterly terrible as well.
Well, it was unique, I'll give it that
Wonder how long her happiness is gonna last
Whatever happened to just proposing to her at a park or a beach? I hear those work every time.
If you're going to do a public proposal in front of hundreds or thousands of people, you're supposed to have a private one before-hand to remove the manipulation aspect from it. Kinda takes the fun out of the big damn flashy jumbotron proposal though, so one has to question if public proposals are even worth it.
what a fucking retarded way to propose
You only know them from this video. It's not how I'd do it, but may be these two just get it.
It's probably fake.
Typical. Facepunch always think they know what's appropriate and what isn't. I thought it was damn clever and if she had wanted to say no she would have. This is the opposite of cringe and made me crack a smile. A good proposal is about effort, not your cookie cutter "in a park" bullshit. You're all comparing this to public proposals, yet the audience here are coworkers who were likely in on it who knew well of his love for her. Their job and this hospital bears significance to the both of them:
Im a paramedic that ask the women of my dreams to marry me. We meet at her place of work at a local hospital that I transport to. So I wanted to propose to her at the hospital that we first seen each other.
Stop being such scrooges and just be happy for them, ffs.
apparently you don't really understand how much pressure or a public spotlight affects people.
So you're saying that all proposals should be in private to prevent any possible pressure on the person being popped the question? Ridiculous.
So you're saying that all proposals should be in private to prevent any possible pressure on the person being popped the question? Ridiculous.
because there's only 2 ways of proposing right
Anyone is free to propose to me, though they must defeat me in combat before I say yes... I am still single to this day.
You only know them from this video. It's not how I'd do it, but may be these two just get it.
This. To us yeah it would be strange but maybe it's just their brand of doing things She says "I'm gonna kill you" but like tbh I think it was something she would probably get behind herself from the looks of it [editline]24th May 2015[/editline] Like personally I'm on the fence cause of watching the video. On one hand, yes, it's kinda really morbid and not cool But then like I could see how it's really the ultimate "lmao got you love you babe xoxo" Either way it's def not a cringe for me
