Putting this fantastic ad aside for a second. Been using Siri for 3 years now and its really starting to lack behind the competition, especially Ok Google and Alexa. Only recently Apple has started to data mine user photos, films and activity like Google has been doing for the last few years so perhaps it does get more intelligent sooner.
Besides having limited functionality like (set alarm and make reminders. usually.) its also bad at understanding what i'm trying to say.
I got a iPhone 6 so perhaps the 7 has it but i'd fucking love if Siri responded that fast like in the ad
This was a pretty funny ad. Apple usually makes pretty great advertisements, but I guess that's what having a fucking enormous marketing budget does.

Agreed. I use Siri almost exclusively to turn off my Hue lights and set timers. Alexa and Google's assistant are much better assistants. iOS 11 seeks to change this a bit by making Siri a lot more contextual but I still feel like it won't get as good as the competitors are now until iOS 12 or 13, at which time the competitors will have already improved dramatically.
Did not end with hint at presidential campaign - wasted potential.
Isn't Okay Google compatible with homebrew projects as well IIRC?
This makes the beginning to The Other Guys make perfect sense now.
