Nevermind video's back up
I am legitimately excited for this game.
From its setting to weapons, it looks so pure
I had the chance to play the alpha, it is as good as it looks
It understand what made old school shooters so much fun without relying entirely on nostalgia and isnt afraid of putting a more modern spin on things where necessary
Never heard of this game but it does look good and I immediately wanted to play.
However he mentioned it in the video and I could kinda tell it by watching, it's too easy.
Hope they manage to make it challenging on the harder difficulties.
Yeah, I agree it felt a bit too easy. Pretty much the only negative thing I can say about it.
The dev commented they already looked into making the hard mode more challenging.
But to be fair only episode 1 out of 3 was playable, so I am not too concerned

I've been following this game from when they announced it. It looks so god damn amazing.
I like how this game looks like on the graphics end - it throws a big middle finger at all the other indie throwback shooters that claim to go "back to the roots", by looking like a quake total conversion mod running on darkplaces with some extra stuff put in, which is far more believable when it comes to looking like a retro fps rather than making everything look like minecraft by over simplyfing the graphics. This game hits the mark just perfect.

It even uses ( interpolated ) vertex animations, just like Quake 2
That hunting rifle looks hella fun to use. I can't wait.

Hopefully the later episodes will throw in new enemies and the such for variety
I saw this guy posted in the New Blood discord, and he definitely isn't part of Episode 1 from my time playing:

So, take that as a soft confirmation
It even uses ( interpolated ) vertex animations, just like Quake 2
well that doesn't seem like it has any advantage

It gives that distinct warbling effect that's really prominent on Quake 2's view models.
Helps sell the mid-90s aesthetic, if nothing else.
An SDK or at least a level editor for this would be a real nice addition, there are lots of people who are still making maps and mods for Half-Life, Quake and even Doom just for how solid the gameplay is
I'm so glad this is turning out to be a true homage to classic FPS. Unlike Strafe which was just procedurally generated Roguelike bullshit.

I think the most important aspect is that on top of being a homage it also does not forget to be fun in its own right.
