It's a really simple FY/AIM type map,and here it looks really bright like eye hurting bright, but ingame it's not like that,Dxtory has a crappy way of dealing with ingame brightness.... Hope you enjoyed the clip :)
You need to work on that brushwork a lot, first of all. Does this map resemble anything that exists in reality. No it doesn't it looks very illogical, a map should have some logic too it in the design sense. Another thing I notices are how incredibly thick the glass panels of that building you were into was, thin them down to about 2-4 units thick. You have potential

Texturing is quite nonsensical. There's a road leading to nowhere, and textures are stretched misaligned etc. But from a gameplay perspective, and the fact it's your first, I'd say it's actually okay. FY/AIM maps have always been about the gameplay anyhow.
yeah, but then I'm guessing he's not aiming for a career in game development
Well,I make these maps to kill time with my friends 1v1.
Too much HDR to me.
The map is not that bright as i said.
in all honesty, not too bad for a "first map", you should check out the mapping section if you want to get better at this.

Damnit I want a beta key so I can make some maps >:I
I so want the beta :(
