Honestly, he looks like an absolute dork. He would have probably got the same reaction if he didn't wear a Kippah. His posture and overall presence makes him such an easy target, doesn't help much that he runs through the shittiest parts of Paris.
This is not a good video.

this is what you sound like right now

Most of the aggressors were just a bunch of thugs picking out something on someone who looked like an easy target.

hm, maybe the jewish man is an expert in media/propaganda and knows this?

And they just happened to make anti-Semitic remarks at him? Give me a break.
are you seriously justifying this
Absolutely not, it's a shame that you have to be afraid these days walking around on the street and being discriminated. It happened to me several times before but this is really just baiting for some kind of reactions. I'm not advocating that the reactions are justified but you're bound to receive such comments if you behave like that guy and walking in somewhat dangerous areas.
And they just happened to make anti-Semitic remarks at him? Give me a break.
Yeah, because he was wearing a Kippah which makes you look silly, easy to pick on somebody for that.

And they just happened to make anti-Semitic remarks at him? Give me a break.
You go walk around dodgy people alone in the city looking like a dweeb and see what people will call you out for. He had a kippah on so they went with that.
Yes of course there is alot of hate for Jewish people out there but this video is just silly.
Good ol' logic and reasoning.
Well, if he's able to take 10 hours down to 1.5 minutes, what does that say about the purpose of the video?
I don't know.
I thought the exact same thing for the famous cat-calling video - are they just leaving footage out? Why would they do that?
What would it be like to watch the rest of the video? Would it be normal, and not noteworthy?
I am all for backing people when it comes to fighting discrimination, but I find things like this suspicious.

Because no one is gonna sit and watch a fucking 10 hour video lmao

So 1:30 out of 10 hours in someones commuting time is an acceptable level of racism?
At what point does the ratio between nothingness and racism become unacceptable?
Maybe people don't want to watch 10 hours of a guy walking around a city for the one moment someone jumps in front of them yelling "YOU'RE A KIKE!!!!"
The purpose of these videos is to show a social issue in a short time to a casual audience. No one in there right mind is gonna scan through 10 hours of footage playing "spot the discrimination".

So you're saying if you look Jewish you'll be discriminated and that's a bad thing.
Who are you arguing against here?
You people are amazing. You still haven't learned that these vids are bad? Wear anything that will stand out, walk for 10 hours in any fucking town you want (but of course mostly the bad parts), and I guarantee you that you will get footage of 3 people commenting on the thing that makes you stand out and few other instances of people generally insulting you, especially if you don't look menacing at all.
And fucking really? Grand total of 3 people said something that had anything to do with him being a jew out of all the people he has passed during 10 hours and that proves a huge anti-semitic problem?
For the people who have problems understanding : THERE IS ANTISEMITISM IN FRANCE I'M NOT DENYING IT
And they just happened to make anti-Semitic remarks at him? Give me a break.
Of course, if you want to offend someone you hit them where it hurts.
Obviously, making anti-semitic remarks at a Jew is a great way to piss them off.

He didn't really stand out at all, he just had that jewish hat which is nothing really. If that warrants all those comments then there's obviously a problem.
If someone wore exactly what he wore here they're wouldn't stand out.

remember kids the best way to fight antisemitism is to completely shy away it and hope everything will be okay. also helps if you try not to be Jewish

I'm not saying there is no antisemitism in france. I'm saying the vid does not prove it. Calm the fuck down.

I mean sure this was just about a minute out of 10 hours but this dude lives there 24/7 365...
I'm not saying there is no antisemitism in france. I'm saying the vid does not prove it. Calm the fuck down.
So you just watched a video demonstrating antisemitism in France, that even included statistics about it, yet you are saying that the video does not prove that there is any antisemitism in France.
ok

[del]There's a huge anti-semitism problem in France, don't kid yourself.
Wikipedia has an entire article DEDICATED TO IT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisemitism_in_21st-century_France#2015[/del]
like really why is this a discussion. this is a fucking open and shut case people being racist assholes
like really why is this a discussion. this is a fucking open and shut case people being racist assholes
The discussion is videos like these are dumb.
So you just watched a video demonstrating antisemitism in France, that even included statistics about it, yet you are saying that the video does not prove that there is any antisemitism in France.
ok
I have watched 3 people out of few thousands make an antisemitic remark. That doesn't prove anything. You can make a video like this about any subject anywhere. Dress like a nerd and walk for 10 hours in Washington. If you record 3 people calling you a nerd does it mean that there's a giant problem of discrimination of nerds in Washington?
And I'm not questioning the statistics they have posted. Can you read?
*video of people being antisemitic*
"I'm saying the vid does not prove it."
So if I record 3 people in Canada saying bad things about black people it means there's a giant racist problem in Canada?
How is this complicated? Recording 3 people making an antisemitic remark in a span of 10 hours (supposedly) is not proof of a giant antisemitic problem in Paris. That doesn't mean that there isn't antisemitic problem in Paris. Just that the video doesn't prove it. It's not complicated to understand. I'm not saying that there is no antisemitism in France. I'm saying this vid does not prove it.
are you seriously justifying this
I never implied that it was justified.
