It's pretty much the best game creation software ever. So go get it http://www.scirra.com/
Someone needs to make a HellMOO game out of this.

No, a graphic HellMOO game would be basically the most illegal thing in the entire universe.

Exactly.
This is still pretty good though, does it have networking?

With some coding.
Looks a lot better than Game Maker. I used to use that software all the time when I was a kid.
Using this right now, that showreel is pretty sweet.
i tried using this but i had no idea how to start
You can also use Game Maker which is really easy to pick-up and learn.
ok i found out how to use it its pretty easy
You could also go to their website to get help

They got forums

Game maker's got nothing on this.
Nothing.
I'm going to try to make a really simple game, that is really ugly due to my lack of artistic talents.

Game Maker has a much larger community.
Game Maker has a much larger community.
Doesn't make Game Maker any better
But you can make some pretty decent games on it like the Crimelife series.
No, a graphic HellMOO game would be basically the most illegal thing in the entire universe.
What's HellMOO? :buddy:
Doesn't look like you can make a old school style shoot 'em up with this.
I watched one video that showed a Wolfenstein-like game made with this, how would I go around making that?
Sheesh people, just go onto their website and download it for yourselves. Just mess around with it for a few days, look up tutorials on their forums and browse through the example games that come with it.
I've been using this thing for several years now, and I am absolutely in love with it. With a little bit of patience, you can make truly incredible things.
Doesn't look like you can make a old school style shoot 'em up with this.
If it's 2D, you can make it.
That's basically it.

I've made shmups with Construct already. It's extremely easy.
There was even a shmup in the showreel.
this is for children.
Every game in the show reel was extremely generic and looked boring.
Just what we need, more boring shmups and brick breaker clones.
Go learn something useful with your time. Like a programming language or animation, or something that actually has a purpose.
well you can't blame kids for thinking this is amazing. It's a great gimmick.

in before some nerd doesn't like my opinion
if i wanted to move sprites around I can do that myself.
[editline]06:56AM[/editline]
"Without writing a line of code!!" yeah because that's a good thing is it?

Your logic
Anyone with a different opinion is equivalent to a child.
Anyone who plays around with this is a child.
Nerds are people who visit forums just as you do, but you are not one.
Saying moving sprites around is possible alone, when this program consists of mainly doing that... alone.
What's HellMOO? :buddy:
I guess it's a text based post apocalyptic game.
Doesn't make Game Maker any better
Don't remember saying it made it more efficient or usable than construct, however having a larger community does give it a 1-Up over Construct currently. Now this is surely to change later on when Construct gains more popularity, but at the moment the larger community provides a greater amount of extensions, code snippets, and help; Which of course provides a much faster development environment.
Game maker's got nothing on this.
Nothing.
Also, saying gamemaker has a bigger community is like saying Facepunch is better than SA for having a better community.

Don't get all programmer anal. Just because you can write a program ( I'm in that boat as well ) and make your own game with your own code doesn't make your end product any more of an end product to the receiving client. Whatever tools the developer wants to use is his or her own business, as long as the intended audience enjoys the final result.

Repeating what I said:
